  1. Dude how awesome would it be to have a Pokémon game on other platforms? Preferably PlayStation, Xbox, PC or Steam? I’m sure it’s never going to happen but you have to wonder what other studios could do with that franchise.

  2. The fact that Baldur's Gate 3 has not been mentioned in any of IGN's "games to look forward to in 2023" material is an actual crime. That game is shaping up to be a masterpiece and has 30+ hours of content available in early access. They have said from the start that they won't be increasing the scope of early access beyond that until full release but rather have added tons of features and quality of life improvements. What's available to play already has game of the generation potential. I'm not exaggerating, BG3 could very well be the witcher 3 of this generation. It's set to release in August by the way.

  3. 1:12:17 Metal Slug 1-7 is the main franchise, 7 came out in 2008 as a Nintendo DS exclusive. Metal Slug X is an 'upgraded' version of Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug XX is the same for Metal Slug 7.

  4. Why would you even assume it was Iwata that announced Metroid Prime 4 was restarting development? He died in 2015, Metroid Prime 4 was first announced in 2017 at e3 and then Shinya Takahashi announced in a video that development was restarting with retro studios taking over on January 25th 2019.

  5. Sam forgot to mention that besides a vampire and a vampire hunter, you can also be a vampire hunter vampire in Castlevania.

  6. I'll say it: "hello, listeners."
Also, how does Sam find the time to work for IGN while filming all of those Liberty Mutual commercials with LiMu the emu? 😁

  7. I'm a former English teacher and found Daemon's question about the title "Hogwarts Legacy" an interesting grammatical study. As a title, it's grammatically correct because it's using "Hogwarts" as an adjective, not a possessive. What's missing is an article, "the." In a sentence, we have two options: "The Hogwarts Legacy lives on" or "Hogwarts' Legacy lives on." Titles are allowed though to break convention for the sake of style.

  8. Sam thinks he can just farm and level up in Elden ring, and that will make the game easier. He's going to need some friends to tell him that that's not the case. You can farm runes to level up for days, but if you don't understand the mechanics of combat, you're going to keep making the same mistakes. Those "A-ha" moments come with continuing the game and struggling thru bosses and moving past enemies that are too difficult before returning back to them.

  9. 37:07 If they were planing to release a new system at the end of the year, they wouldn't release tears of the kingdom at June. They would release it at the end of the year along with the new system.
