  1. Could you do some research into the company Ripple Energy? They are offering to sell shares in a wind farm for just £25 and I'm wondering if you could look into the founders

It would be great to see if this was a viable model for ordinary folks

  2. I live in Taiwan, and I can assure you that Apple does NOT use 100% renewable energy for production or manufacturing of their goods 🤣 That's a bold face lie from their PR department

  3. I only get a new phone when the one I am using dies. I always save photos and numbers and other documents to my laptop, sim card and other storage forums so I always have these things

  4. beginning of video: "is samsung sustainable for the environment?"

end of video: "and that's why capitalism creates an unfair environment for the consumer, and why you should instead support eco-socialist groups-"

  5. Maybe you should've talked about their labour practices. I haven't looked into Samsung's ones specifically, but they are based in south korea, which has pretty much no worker rights at all, so the situation could be really bad.

  6. Samsung manufacturers their phones themselves, thus their energy needs are those of a manufacturers and developer combined. Apple only does the R&D themselves, outsourcing the manufacturing. Apples energy needs are way less and make it more affordable for them to switch to 100% renewables. Directly comparing that to Samsung is a bit of a stretch.

  7. 3:55 that's not true. It's only because they let contractors make their stuff. Btw apple displays from Samsung and some of their chips have also been manufactured by Samsung. So if Samsung is 1% renewable, how can Apple be 100%? Because they only count their own, and they make very little by themselves. Those contractors do not care about the environment.

  8. It's called Capitalism my friend. And planned obsolescence is good for the market. Samsung is just 1 example of how our current economic system works. We need to change the whole entire system to make a real change.

  9. Apple is worse than Samsung in terms of the environment because they intentionally engineer their phones so they cannot be repaired Samsung does not do that

  10. As a tech expert, because smartphone companies make the OS custom to the line of phone they created, I highly advise AGAINST any phone older than one year, for security purposes. Yes, it sucks for the environment, and that is the price we all sadly have to pay because Samsung/Apple/Huawei refuse to make the OS universal, like Windows with continuous security patches, and only want to make another buck. The Right t repair should include the right to own the software!

  11. Hi guys! if u care for the environment, please use Ecosia as your search engine. For every 45 searches u make, a tree will be planted somewhere. If you think this is fake, u can always check out their YouTube channel. Stay safe guys 🙂 bai bai
