Well I am hyped for Apple AR more than the VR.

I've been tinkering with VR headsets for a while and I can confidently say that I expect to replace my monitor and TV with a headset in the next few years once the new generation of headsets with two 4Kx4K micro OLED displays hit the market. The resolution and contrast are the only factors that need to be solved for it to be a viable replacement for me. People are very skeptical because they haven't tried it.
I'm sure it will have the M2 chip and it will be a wearable MacBook that will display a virtual computer screen on your desk.

Such a niche market. Hard to believe Apple would waste it's time on a VR headset when not a lot of people use VR to begin with. I had the Oculus for about 3 days. That's when the fun of VR wore out.

I suspect will be like an Apple Watch, where it essentially doesn't work unless you have a supported iPhone paired to it.
