  1. The expert raw app always processes the images. If you want real raw you have to use the baked in pro mode in the normal camera app on the S23 Ultra. Also maybe you have to change the camera settings to activate raw files im pro mode. ( at least that is the case on other Samsung Phones ) Did you use the expert raw app for the raw images, or did you use the camera app ?

  2. First of, you can get magsafe for the S23 Ultra. There's several covers for the phone with built in magsafe. So just get one of those and you got magsafe too.

As far as the baked in noise cancellation and sharpening, I totally agree. I don't want that. Or at least I want to be able to shoot without it when ever I need that. So I totally agree with you there.

Got the S23 Ultra. And yes, the 200MP isn't close to actual 200MP of details. To be honest the 50MP isn't close to 50MP either. But most of that is due to the dang noise cancellation and sharpening processing. But for digital use, it's actually pretty good. But you don't want to be pixel peeping, or printing very large prints. Still it beats the iPhone though.

  3. I've been waiting for this 200mp review.. I was guessing wasn't genuine 200mp but all down to software processing…Nice…got some cool features though…thanks for sharing

  4. You guys did the review at the wrong time. The last update messed upthe processing completely for s23. Wait till the next update and redo the review. The first software details was excellent, last camera update made it trash

  5. My Pixel phone also over sharpens all pictures, and there is no easy way to fix it. But at least the pictures don't come out blurry, unlike Samsung Galaxy ultra phones.

  6. Best phone for portraits? I currently have a iPhone 12 pro Max and I find the focal length distorts people. On my big camera I prefer shooting above 50mm with 85mm being my favourite focal length.

  7. My Galaxy A72 was a big downgrade from my motorola one vision. more megapixels, waaay more sharpening…. don't know why samsung does not just use gcam like normal people would… it's better and free… wtf samsung

  8. If you’re going to review the resolution of these phones then use calibrated charts like you used to do for cameras and lenses. Shooting to the actual resolution the post process to gigafy… until we have an updated QX1 phone images will only fail.

  9. Tony you can do better, don't do reviews like many YT "Phone Camera reviews". 1# you know ExpertRaw is a Linear DNG files. 2# I get it in US iPhone is the king for AirDrop . There is Quick Share also Samsung Flow for non Samsung Laptops. Not everyone is using Mac I know shocking. 3# MagSafe cases are there if people need one. 4# regular in Pro Mode Raw not over sharpened. 5# for starting photogrephers they just phone and monitor and you can use Dex and Lightroom. Not everyone need to spend $$$ get locked in into Apple garden. 6# US YouTubers really need to step outside their bubble (I know 🔵 so good)

  10. Xiaomi 12S Ultra , it comes with a Leica camera and an 1" sensor . I can't get it in Canada . I wonder if it is being sold in United States .

  11. At the start of the video, you should ask Chelsea – where is a pause button on video record on iPhone, and can she change modules during recording on the fly

  12. Still on my iPhone 11 … an interesting comparison: I honestly didn't think either was more "usable" than the other, except with the night photography (even though the Samsung had better telephoto pictures, they only sucked less). Also, Chelsea FTW, just because …

  13. I don't use my smartphone camera, except in dire emergencies. If I wanted to spend the money to get a smartphone with a good camera, I'd go for a Sony Xperia, either the 1iv or the Pro-I. they screw up, I mean process, pictures less than the Samsung and Apple.

  14. The over sharpening is toxic. I tried taking a macro photo of someone eyes and all of the speculation reflections had these unnatural black edges around them.

It essentially renders high detail areas terribly, with unrealistic textures that aren’t present in reality.

  15. Sony Xperia phones are the only ones giving you the pro photography experience… But when you're a pro photographer that's not what you want from your phone, surely not at the price they sell their phone. Since I always have cameras with me… A 300€ phone is enough.

  16. Guess I'll be sticking with my Pixel 7 Pro. Love the zoom on the S23 though. Thanks for doing this video. Have you had a chance to look at the Xiaomi 13 Pro?

  17. Here is the problem. The latest camera update Ruined the 200MP mode. Before there was no sharpening. Everyone is complaining about it. Techyonion showed the before and after. Samsung need to put back the old camera processing for 200MP. It would be par with the Sony.

  18. Guys Great Video As Always You Need To Test The Vivo X90 Pro Plus Out Its The Best Out There I Have It Its Insane What It Can Do Keep Up The Great Work 🙂📷📱
