7. In a way, im glad to see things like that on the horizon after spending thousands on the ardupilot project only to see 3dr going nowhere and pixhawk beconing a county club pushing us hobbyists to the curb.

9. Great review………I did order one and when I got it the drone had no bottom camera and I was not able to lock it into the controller for storage. Everyone else must have been lucky.
   At this point it's just a $30- drone.

It just BLOWS ME AWAY what china has done for the hobby and companies like AliExpress, as much as we love to hate China and trash them(and we should, what they are doing to their people is so tragic), I'd love to say we shouldnt support them by buying this stuff, call me shallow but I can't resist, it's all coming from China anyway. When I think back to my hexfly qs1 I bought at the hobby shop like 10yrs ago, it cost me 100 bucks and I thought wow what an amazing deal!….it does nothing but float around a room, that wasn't even the 2nd version that had the worst camera( 240p) you've ever seen for an additional $30, the cost of this entire drone package by the way. How far we've come is just crazy when you think about it. Thx for the video and saving me the hassle of flicking thru dozens of pages of drones trying to decide which one is decent, I will be picking this one up tonight as the first one I ordered I literally just seen it pop up while browsing thru AliExpress and thought…what? a drone for $24? Click… buy now! lol, so who knows what I'll get in the mail, I'll let my youngest destroy it and order this one for myself for what, 5 more dollars? Lol
    I'm rambling here but I just can't believe when u take the middle man outta the equation you realize, all this garbage I've bought from the hobby shop was literally a 10 dollar drone. If we didn't have access to banggood and the like to order direct, I'd still be paying what 200 dollars for this drone at the hobby shop? I love supporting my hobbyshop….if any of them were still in business. So I guess I'm supporting China now. Oh well, if ya can't beat em….join em.

12. Ordered one. It came in a reasonable amount of time. For a $30.00 (or so) drone this is a great buy. Handles well. As for the camera. NOT 4K. period. Having said that this is the BEST $30.00 camera drone I have gotten so far and I am pleased with the purchase. Our snow is gone but I have used the drone outside on bright, sunny days and haven't experienced any blown out exposures.. When I first received this unit the pictures were just 'ok' In looking at the camera I noticed there was a bluish 'film' on the lense. There was no 'tab' to aid in it's removal so I was undecided if it should come off. Throwing caution to the wind (and possibly $35.00 + ) I carefully took it off. The pictures were markedly better without the film! Should I have removed it? Only time will tell….

    So far I would rate this TOY drone an A+!

15. this little drone doesn't have good control, it always runs off somewhere, it can't be still … if you just lift it above the ground, it goes around without you controlling it

    I bought the S96 drone. However, I am struggling to connect it to my iphone 12 with latest ios. Also tried to connect with an ipad. Wont work. Any ideas what i could do? Update the firmware?if possible? Thanks

18. I got the s96 after watching your video but I'm struggling how to connect the app to my phone its all in Chinese and I have used Google translate but it just takes me to Chinese adverts might you have a top tip please

19. I don't understand how it is so calm for you..mine can't stand still like this, it keeps dragging it somewhere…and it's hard for me to get it upright even though it's calibrated..

20. it's totally imprecise to steer.. if you raise it a little, it goes away and you can't get it back, and at low flight it runs away and you can't drive it properly..

21. Just received 2 of these. Tried 1 out seemed OK lights was flashing the whole time and can't tell if the batteries are charging…

30. Remarkable for $30.
    Didn't even know they made obstacle avoidance and all that in those things with the phone integration with all those nifty features at that price.
    Though the trend of upscaling a camera sensor to 4k is kinda a silly waste of memory, they could've make it 720p or 1080p and maybe a nicer lense and the footage would look better and take up less space, though they push the limits of hardware just to stick 4k on it(the camera you recorded the video on, good 4k, can tell the difference) because that sells better.
    Though honestly, the fact any of that is $30 is really impressive, I'm so behind on that stuff and the title could say $250 and I'd believe it.
