Marketed under Dacia’s or Renault’s badge this micro crossover has gone through a recent facelift which introduced a much more appealing front fascia, new CMF low-specification platform, better tech and engines.

#4 2021 Kia Stonic

We often say that Kia Soul is the brand’s smallest crossover, but in reality, this title belongs to this cute CUV that is sold on the European market. Basically a raised version of the Rio hatchback, the 2021 Kia Stonic arrives with new LED headlights, two additional body colors dubbed Storm Grey and Azure Blue, and a Zest Yellow paint finish for the roof.

#5 2021 Hyundai Venue

Advertised as a modern and youth-oriented model, the 2021 Hyundai Venue offers agile handling, plenty of driver assists, as well as a surprisingly comfortable and spacious cabin. It comes powered by a 1.6-liter inline-4 that makes 121 horses and 113 lb-ft. From 2021, the only gearbox in North America is a CVT, while other markets continue to get 6-speed manual and automatic options.

#6 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer

2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer seizes the opportunity to tap into a thrifty and yet tech hungry category of buyers. It offers 2 engine choices, optional AWD, and comes equipped with Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System with smartphone integration, Safety Assist package and signature LED DRLs.

Despite the recent facelift, the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport also known as ASX, still rides on the same platform as 10 years ago. However, there are countless benefits of putting on the latest Dynamic Shield front fascia.

#8 2021 Suzuki Vitara

Facelifted in 2019, Suzuki Vitara remains one of the most affordable crossover options, though its starting price will depend heavily on the market where you are doing the shopping. In Eastern Europe, Oceania and some regions of Asia, the model continues to offer a variety of drivetrain setups, while in EU countries, only the Euro-6d compliant 1.4L mild hybrid remains on the table.

#9 2021 Renault Duster

The world is patiently holding its breath for the facelifted version of the best-selling Renault Dacia Duster. For now, though, it still remains a far better car than its price tag would suggest, both as a city commuter and a 4wheel drive mild off-roader.

  1. Hopefully we will able to save your money, when shopping for a crossover in 2021. Would you prefer going for one of the features models or would you rather get a more expensive, larger crossover on the used market? Lets talk this over in the comments section!

  2. I can’t decide between Renault Captur, Hyundai Kona, Kia Stonic and Dacia Sandero Stepway. The Captur and Kona are obviously more well equipped than the Stepway, but the price difference is not small to. Can’t make up my mind if it’s worth it and which one to get.
