2. The way everyone thinks they know what they’re talking about in this comments section💀. This isn’t a meta quest. Point blank. This is a completely new device that addresses areas of use that the quest doesn’t focus on. Quest is a VR device for gaming. The Apple Reality Pro is a spacial computer. It’s an AR macbook that projects digital elements onto the physical world, that does things so much differently compared to a MacBook.

   It’s 3500 because it’s the first iteration of the product, it’s not meant to be for the general public hence the “pro” in its name. It’s meant for early adopters to test it out and give feedback to Apple as it refines the next version of the product. It will get cheaper and more accessible over time.

   The 2 hour battery is due to the immense power this thing draws. It has to power multiple cameras, lidar sensors, microphones, spatial audio, a front screen, 2 lenses with over 3.5 million pixels in the form factor of 2 postage stamps, and 2 of the most powerful silicone chips ever made processing AR elements accurately into your environment, reacting to lights shadows, all at the same time. It’s completely understandable that this thing lasts only 2 Hours on battery, But it can be used while plugged in as well, and you can use it as much time as you want while plugged in. The future iterations of this product will get better and more efficient as technology develops. We just have to wait.

10. That's cool. Like ready player one in real life. That movies gonna be real stuff soon crazy times. I mean really all those old syfi movies like u pick whatever 1 u want and bc of technology it's gonna be real one day. Everything is possible in time they have a jet power motorcycle that can fly no bs they built it and it works. It was a scaled down model but it proved its possible they have to jus build the scaled up version n we are flying on motorcycles like we are in the Jetsons or somethin lol. What a cool time for technology. The future is gonna be so cool as long as we don't ruin it all cuz we can get along or we ruin our planet which is already happening. It scares the crap outta me that we are gonna destroy out 1 and only home. What then ppl??? Where u gonna go… we gotta start saving the planet or we won't have one for to long. And with the tech we have we can make it so much better but we destroy instead… I don't understand it

17. The big issue with Apple products is that they stop supporting any of their products after a few years and not leave it to the customer to make the decision to change their product. For example, I had a perfectly working IPad 4, hardly used. I have not got the value for the money I paid for that IPad and they stopped supporting. Even if they stop supporting, they do not allow the installation of other OS (such as Linux) and are forcing you to purchase a new tablet. So, essentially Apple products are not worth the price they are stating as compared to Android. Unless I receive a free Apple product in a contest, I wouldn't bother purchasing an Apple product.

20. I got Apple Music… and wow, just wow.

    Apple Music with Spatial Audio (surround sound music via Dolby Atmos) is a night and day improvement.

    Spotify 2-channels is like home theater in the 90s with 2 front speakers or DVDs, whereas Spatial Audio is like today's home theater with 13 speakers and Dolby Atmos/DTS:X and 4k physical disc movies. It's a night and day improvement.

    I compared the song 'Senorita by shawn mendez and camila cabello' in Apple Spatial Audio versus 2-channels Spotify and it was a night and day improvement.

    In my car with Apple Carplay (and an aftermarket wireless Apple Carplay adapter from Amazon), Spotify now sounds so so so bad (sounds like a cassette as if there's a blanket over my speaker) versus Apple Music's clarity and dynamic range. I didn't know what I was missing!

28. Apple absolutely nailed the 8+ minute ad for this headset. They were able to almost completely and deliberately omit any trace of the heteronormative white male (aka the source of all evil and all that’s wrong with the world). I love Apple!
