  1. Thank you for 1,400,000 subscribers! ❤ The recent growth has been incredible, I am glad so many of you are finding my content for the first time and enjoying it enough to stick around for more.

Edit: Really struggling to find the right title for this video. It's not a downfall video, but more of a retrospective on what happened and how he navigated the situation (and the example it sets for other creators when responding to criticism). Here's my ideas:
    1. Why MKBHD's Audience Turned On Him
    2. The Rise, Fall & Redemption of MKBHD
    3. The Moment MKBHD's Audience Turned On Him
    4. What Went Wrong for MKBHD

I would appreciate any suggestions under 45 characters in the replies.

  2. The internet can amplify public scrutiny and judgment, often with lasting consequences. It's important to remember that everyone makes mistakes, and exercising empathy and compassion is crucial when engaging in online discussions. While constructive feedback is valuable, it's equally important to avoid excessive negativity and focus on fostering productive dialogue.

  3. Reminds me of the MASSIVE problem with science journal publishing – almost no one publishes when a test fails… this is a BIG problem because others waste time trying the same… negative reviews are a positive thing and failed hypotheses need to be shared.

  4. I mean, if you just noticed this now, then I guess the audience is getting exactly what they asked for. Criticizing now actually just sounds like whining, when you are too stupid to see it.
When he made his first video of talking about issues he had with his Tesla, that already told me everything I need to know about him.

  5. human ai pin is just a bad product, too expensive and not ofering anything new. Any cheaper smartphone would do better. I wonder why people think you can't say a product is bad when it's bad.

Same with Fisker. I wouldn't want to buy an espensive car to found out that is full of issues, and most of it won't be fixed because the company won't do it/can't fix it or went bancrupt.
"In a nutshell, Fisker Inc. failed because of four key reasons; its cars were plagued with issues, the company mismanaged funds, it focused on third-party contractors for production, and it lacked the proper organisational structure needed to turn a design sketch into a commercially viable product."

  6. This is a reach u sound like a hater, he didn’t do what half the you tubers be doing and made up for it. People still rock with him, lol u better off making another Charlie video

  7. if you don't feel your product can stand up to a review, perhaps it's not ready to be released.. We all understand the reasoning why something might be released too soon, but there's a penalty for releasing early. The risk of negative reviews.

  8. everyone wants to get rich quick…dude was consistent for 10 years to get where he is. If anyone has the right to critique anything, it’s him.😂

  9. Just because some people watch some videos, doesn't automatically make someone a fan..
I'm a fan of nobody, I don't believe in youtube celebrity, Anyone with a crap camera can make a video.

  10. TBH, he is a reviewer. He is not a WOKE reviewer. All you can challenge is his review and the quality of it. If the Disney film Acoylte sucks, then it sucks. A film reviewer does their job and tells you why it sucks. The best of the best like Critical drinker have good motivations for why they came to their conclusions. If people can be paid to say good things then they are no good.

  11. Don't forget his incredibly soft-ball interview with Apple, where he essentially repeats Apple's right to repair propaganda that is demonstrably false.

  12. Negative but honest reviews, even for startup companies, are a good thing. Imagine if someone could have given honest negative reviews of Theranos. Those might have saved people at lot of trouble and investors a lot of money. The $50 wallpaper app was dumb. Driving 96 mph in a 35 mph zone is reckless, elitist, and made me decide to stop viewing his videos. Everyone gets to make their own choices about what is acceptable to them. To me it was not acceptable.
