Great to see Nintendo Switch 2 is back on the podcast! Love that guy.
Heck yeah I can't wait to pay $500 plus an extra roughly $85 per game for a 1080p lcd handheld with 4% better graphics than a Switch 1. Just kidding, nobody's doing that hence why even the Wii U had a stronger launch. These thigs are still in stock and scalpers are returning them after realizing they can't make a profit on them. Hilarious.
I refuse to downgrade from the Note 7 and that was my pixel one start
Well I got a cell phone when they first made cell phones in 1994 airtouch flip phone frightening
I've never owned a Switch. By the time I wanted one, there were rumors of a Switch Pro so I decided to wait. I found it surprisingly easy to get a Switch 2, tho. I expected to have to hunt it down like the PS5, but they were in stock everywhere. Many stores didn't even have PS5's sitting on shelves but had Switch 2's. I guess $450+ for a nintendo device is too much money for most people. I'm genuinely curious what the sales for the Switch 2 will look like. I fully expect it to be dramatically worse than the original Switch. I'm hoping it's bad enough that nintendo realizes they can't get away with these dramatic price hikes
I love hearing each of your phone histories. Brings back memories of fun phones back in the day!
This thing has negligible improvement over the Switch 1. There's zero reason to buy one until they become available.
Airpods, the new shareable Babelfish!
Wait David doesn't own an iron? why does that track
Adam won. Those phones are elite and yes the Pixel 4a was the best phone in history
David really knows NOTHING about phones!! Wow!! How often can you be wrong?! π€― Wrong about the first HTC he had. Completely wrong about the S3. And a hundred more of these.
You dont get slowed down going off road when free roaming in Mario kart world
Nintendo switch just got some proper competition in new Xbox handheld π€π€ are you visiting Rimac Campus?
"what the heck is that?"
Loved the phone stories, here's my rundown: – cheap T-Mobile Samsung flip phone – LG G2X (first dual core phone), hand me down from my mom – blu dash music 4.0 – first I bought myself, garbage viewing angles, no flash on 3.2 MP camera – Samsung Galaxy stellar – Samsung Galaxy light (both very similar chunky budget Samsung phones but worked surprisingly well – LG L90 budget LG with self-healing back cover, surprisingly good screen for the price – Nexus 4, I flexed the wireless charging so much and the phone just felt so cool, but no LTE – Galaxy Note 3 – first "flagship" and "phablet" (lol) I had. Loved it, got lost somewhere in my parents house but would connect to my Bluetooth headphones for 3 days after I lost it so I know it was somewhere but never found it to this day – LeEco Le S3 weird Chinese phone with good specs for the price. Great customer service replaced it for me when it broke a year after the warranty ended – Nextbit Robin – the cloud gimmick was dumb but I got one cheap after it flopped. My friends mentioned it failed JRE test and I'd just chuck it in the air and let it fall – bc it was all plastic it always survived – Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3, gimmicky "flagship" but it was fully reversible ie orientation didn't matter – cool gimmick tbh otherwise just a half-decent mid-ranger – Moto G (3rd Gen) – eh, boring but fine – Galaxy S5, moto broke and I was broke so I found an old S5 and used it. Tank of a phone honestly, last one with removable back/battery – Essential phone. This was when I got my own phone plan bc Sprint was both basically ($200) giving away the phone with any service at all, the bug fixes were coming out, and Sprint had a $5/mo unlimited plan if you opted to not use stores for support at all or something. Honestly I loved it, great phone once it got those first updates and at a lower price point. Became a top 500 pubg Mobile player on this phone, and it was the first phone I daily drove more than a year by choice – Pixel 3a cheap, good software support, good camera, that's all I needed, used it for 2 years until I got an insane trade in offer for the: – pixel 6a I use to this day, but I also sometimes daily the – Unihertz Jelly Max (A SMALL ANDROID PHONE,) – great battery life, chunky, great on the whole but unfortunately the camera leaves a bit to be desired. Need to try getting GCam on it
I got my first phone ever in my freshman year in college: Moto G Google Play Edition (back in 2014), 2016: Nexus 5, 2018: OnePlus 6, 2020: OnePlus 8T, 2021: iPhone 12 Pro, 2023: iPhone 15 Pro which is my current and I also got a Pixel 9a this year as a second phone.
Can actually tell you guys all of you are wrong every racing game you slow down on grass or dirt
A speaker with a screen that moved in the direction when I walk would be awesome
My phone journey was 3 dumb phones (nokia 6101 or something close to it, motorola slvr, then the razr v3). Smartphones were Samsung galaxy s1 then iphones (5, 7, 6s, tennis match, se2, mini, bought another se2, 14p, 15).
Ellis Google fi is really good and really affordable plans but I bet you would love
I had a Samsung Alias! It was the best phone with the worst OS that I had ever owned! And it was unfortunately lost to Superman The Ride at Six Flags.
