If that were the case then central banks would be heavily acquiring silver and not gold.
But this is simply not the case.
Central Banks all over the world have been heavily acquiring gold not silver.
So DavinciJ although you made money on bitcoin due to a little bit of foresight and a lot of luck I have to disagree.
Gold has always been the #1 metal that people have valued & always will be worth more than silver.

What types of silver (meaning rounds and coins) are you more favored toward?
It could be possible that silver could go higher than gold. A few years ago palladium was $400 a ounce cheaper than gold. Now palladium is $50 higher. Platinum currently is almost $400 cheaper than gold. You can buy 82 oz of silver for 1 oz of gold. I do think silver will have its bitcoin moment.
Silver should perform better than gold but I do not think silver price will over take gold.

However in Europe and Asia 99,99 fine silver is in demand in kilo bars. It' also pricer in different countries, Australia being one of the highest priced places to buy. India is reportedly up 20% on Silver investment this past year, outpacing gold.

When gold predictions of silver being worth more than gold, are made, they should clarify this by reinforcing their prediction by quoting a silver to gold ratio. Do these people really mean that I could trade in 100oz of physical silver for over a 100oz of physical gold and the recipient would be happy to swap? This concept is as improbable, as crypto currency's values will be stabilised to the point that they would be a store of spending or saving value. The downside of physical bullion is you can be personally robbed, with crypto, the exchanges can be controlled and regulated. Your constitution is and can be subverteted, to the point that the authorities allow themselves to have higher power weapons with greater magazine capacities than the populace, they can reinforce this advantage with body armour etc. at the expense of the populace they are employed to suppress. In the UK, the authorities and criminals have access to hand guns, but the law abiding citizens endure a blanket ban,.even Olympic shooters have to train abroad, Having expressed this, I prefer the UK model, than the potentially explosive US scenario. The seeds for a militarized law enforced society, are sown from having a world policeman mentality emanating from an industrial military complex.

I think one of the things that will drive pm's up is people will use crypto profits to hedge themselves against the machine that destroyed the dollar, it was never meant to last this long. Gold and silver is money, been money for 5000 years and will continue into the next millennia.

I was suckered into this in 2012. Silver is going to skyrocket. Its going to hit $50, $100 and more…. This guy got lucky with Bitcoin like most did. It has no intrinsic value and the Establishment controls it.
