Honestly, at this point im just about numb to games being released in a trash state. Even when I saw the trailer a year or two ago and was interested, I had a heavy feeling the game would be only partially baked out the oven because that's the industry standard now. I tried to deny it, I tried to hold on to hope that developers and publishers would wake up and actually put more effort into their games, but with each AAA title that fell flat on launch, that hope diminished more and more.
Honestly, I don't think game development for big releases will ever be like it was, when devs actually put love and care into their games. Since apparently its cheaper to just release games half-baked or even not baked at all, and slowly bake it into a playable state over time, then cease development on the game and move onto the next half-baked title. I've finally come to the realization that the AAA companies simply don't care/no longer care about putting out a good game, they only care about maximizing profits, which while I understand is the purpose of a corporation, is still shitty for a lot of consumers who just want to play a good game without it crashing on them every 5 minutes or getting bored before playing for a full hour.
Its whatever, I guess. Only way I see AAA game development go back to the "actually giving a fuck" period is if gaming tech goes back in time to when patches for a game couldn't be pushed online and devs were pretty much forced to not release their games half-baked since whatever was broken couldn't be easily patched out without a whole new game release.
Arcane Studios has really bombed on this release. Unless this game has easy trophies/achievements, I don't see myself playing this at all. It looks lackluster and uninteresting.
Honestly stunned at how this even has a 60 on Metacritic. There are reviews that give it 90s and 80s lmao

People don’t seem to understand what gamepass means for Microsoft games. It means the budget is going to be low for any exclusive launching on gamepass. A low budget means a lower quality game. The fact that people are still surprised whenever a gamepass game is utter trash is kind of hilarious. That’s the standard of gamepass and Xbox. Get used to it

Okay the only thing I do t agree with skill up on this game is it having the worst shooting on a console game, nah mate, you Cleary haven't played armra reforger, vigor or dayz. Those are hands down the absolute worst fps games console has ever had

! It is the only game where I will sit there and actually read the notes that the NPCs left that helped build story for side quest. Nothing has topped it, especially none of those lame Sony games! If only we can go back to game development of that quality!
I thought it was funny when I checked the store page that for a start this game costs £59.99, but also they have the 'bite back' upgrade for another £26.99, which gives you… outfits, and skins and the 'hero pass'. WHO on earth is paying almost £100 in total for that?

Wow, this is the priciest indie game i've ever seen.
(Also funny checking out the few positive steam reviews there are, pretty much all of them is admitting the game is shit but that they think the game is getting too much hate so they recommend it )
