  1. Iā€™m happy that Boomstick got his due recognition and IGN is admitting fault. Was it really necessary to fire the writer? Perhaps a less severe punishment could have been applied.

  2. Why do US companies fire a people after just one mistake? Seems kinda harsh.
Yeah, it was wrong but unless he was a repeated offender, there are other internal disciplinary measures than firing.

  3. Can we compliment Altano? The dude is seriously the IGN fixer. They can put that dude anywhere & I will be all "Nah, it's cool man." He's that damn cool.

  4. I commend you guys. You guys are responsible enough to admit and redeem yourself in the face of issues and outcries. You are what the media should be, trustworthy, honest, and noble. I'm afraid, I rarely see this kind of honest service, which is sad. I hope you keep up the good work and I hope you keep us, the viewers and subscribers, informed with honest opinion from you.

  5. You did the right thing for once. Still don't like your organization overall, but this one thing, you got very right. So good job, IGN. I feel dirty even saying that, but credit where due, unlike the guy who plagiarized his work.

  6. I was going to make the classic "7.8 too much blue in backround" joke

But good on you ign for owning up and handled the situation in the best way possible.

  7. It was clear that it was a major fail but in the end it was the mistake from one person and not the company i hope they learned soemthing out of it
