  1. So about 4 minutes of resident evil, the rest of the video is you talking about a game that actually isn't that good.
Coming from a guy with multiple thousands of hours across MMO's and shooters it doesn't look that hard, nor does it look that great.

  2. Btw this actually got me extremely excited for Ace Combat 7. Im going to have to modify the custom racing simulator i built to accommodate my flight stick.

  3. I don't understand why independent youtubers do a better job at reviews than these game websites. They employ a bigger staff, are almost always guaranteed to get the game before launch so they can release a review when the embargo lifts, not to mention the one who writes the review and the one edits the video are two different people. How do they still not manage to play through the whole game? Isn't that their job? You play through games for free and get paid for your opinion. So why is the industry filled with people who have no desire to play the games?

  4. IGN reviews a tombstone pizza: "I almost burned my hand off in the oven reaching for the pizza, it is too complicated!…I have to wear an oven mitt? I bit right into it and my mouth as is pain because the pizza was too hot!. Tombstone Pizza 3.4 Rating"

  5. This dude does not give a shit about our best Interest from what I see he does this shit for the $. Is this guy even a real gamer ? Or is all that shit in his back round just for show.

  6. 4:45 Why is is SURPRISING that flying a fighter jet in a game which is about realism is complex? Idiots like these shouldnt be allowed to critique a video game, because they have the wrong expectations.

  7. 'There is ABSOLUTELY NO INDICATION that they changed this review… except this note explicitly saying that they changed the review.'

You need to see a teacher about your reading-comprehension skills. I am not even joking – if you are going to make money off of reading other people's thoughts and writings, you should at least be able to read at an 8th grade level.
Jesus fucking Christ, what do they teach you in US schools if they don't teach you HOW TO READ????

  8. If you suck at a game, hand it over to someone else. I'm terrible at fighting games so I would never presume to write a review of one.

I don't understand why these outlets don't just have dedicated teams of people for each genre. Have a group of reviewers good at RPGs, another group good at shooters, etc. I guess it's easier to whine and inject your politics, but that's not going to get them taken seriously or bring back views.

  9. The only reviewers I trust are those on steam– by people who spent their own money on the said games, and have no ulterior motives that influence their ratings.

  10. 8 hours to finish the game? that's not bad due to the second campaign and all the game modes. But who's willing to bet it'll be closer to 12 hours for people who play on hard and do EVERYTHING? and i'm not even including restarting sections because you died. Fuck IGN. The campaigns are very different. SMFH

  11. Let's be fair those fighter sims could use a bit more tutorial telling you what to do. I remember playing an f14 fighter sim on dos. I had to learn to land on a air craft carrier. I didn't know I was supposed to deploy flaps, put on the air brake and extend the hook. I spent hours crashing into the deck of the carrier until I learn to land by turning off the engines and gliding in without hooks or flaps. Imagine my rage when I finally learn there is a hook on my plane and how easy it is to land with a bloody hook extended.

  12. A couple notes:
1- games have almost always had tutorials, which would mean that tutorials are the norm and not the other way around.
2- no tutorials is not like real life…"First day?" "Yeah. So how do you fly this thing?" "I dunno, but you'll figure it out or die trying! Good luck!"
3- "…essentially saying it's not a good game." A score of 7, which is what they gave ace combat, is quite /literally/ good. Says so right beside the big number in big letters…

In most things you're taught what to do, even if it's on the job training. Very rarely do you just get thrown into stuff with absolutely no clue of what to do. Even Dark Souls, a supposedly hard game, had tutorials. Though comparing the two seems inadequate as you would more likely need tutorials in a dogfighting simulator than in the Souls' dodge and attack melee combat

  13. Ace Combat is one of those series’s that needs no story. We are all really there for the action. However, the fact that they lay on one( and a damn good one too) makes it all the more great. If you played the ps2 games, you know what I mean

  14. Just use google translate and read reviews in other languages. German journalists from magazines for example are real journalists and don't care for some american meta scores. Of course they aren't perfect, but still way better than any of these online reviewers.

  15. Love the timing of the Dollar Shave Club Sponsorship:

"We know you are throwing away your Gillettes and looking for a new razor" 😉

  16. No prompts on how to drop a bomb? You select the god damn bomb and a god damn line stretches down to a circle on a ground; literally telling you the trajectory of the bomb and it's area of effect Ace Combat has never done that before
Not to mention Ace Combat games have always been arcadey so not understanding controls is liek saying you dont know what the fuck to do on a street fighter machine (although thats more believable)

  17. How can they insinuate that some games are too difficult! Oh IGN, I see. Those filthy toxic hardcore gamers might like this, but we recommend you stay away.

  18. Btw I think it was YouTube error on your video this morning. I have numerous people post in their community tabs that they had to re upload videos because YouTube had kind of left them in limbo so only a few people viewed them. Just thought I would say something cause I didn't even see your earlier video and I usually watch all your stuff.
