18. I will use Eth when they actually become decentralized – their archive nodes are barely run by anyone. ETH is the definition of a scam. ETH with all the tech behind it is not scalable and not secure. Period. It is stupid to even buy ETH by selling your BTC and being locked in a smart contract credit – keep watching the ETH go to worthlessness in Satoshi terms. Regarding DeFi with all the projects like BlockFi you shilled none of them actually run trustlessly. In the end each and every DeFi service is backed by a company, which just like scam ETH based DEXes will come ask for your KYC/AML. So what you really are suggesting is ignore the centralized trust of ETH chain, and also ignore the fact that most smart contracts on ETH are buggy (with all the turing completeness there is not one single secure implementation of a simple thing like multi sig on ETH), and also ignore the fact none of the DeFi projects are actually decentralized, and just prefer ETH for DeFi over Lightning.

    I would rather have Bitcoin crash to $1k and watch the whole shitcoin space burn to 0 to give enough time for lightning to mature and watch ETH die in that process.
