I think that these two drones are a great combination, if you could afford them. The Mini can fill in on the Skydio's weaknesses in manual control. At this stage I would only be able to afford the Mini though, but maybe someday…

Captain drone thanks for your great content as always. Today im between a Mavic mini fly more $500 or great sale on mavic air no fly more for $775. I think the mavic air is a sturdier drone thats more capable drone as far as features galore. I feel like if I'm going to get one why not one i can grow into as well. Any thoughts i would greatly appreciate it?
My only issue with the mini is the lack of sensor..almost crash my mini trying to fly thru tree branches. The video quality itself is shockingly good..if the mini can shoot raw image then its perfect for me

For me, until Dji don’t give us the possibility to manage iso and shutter speed in the app, the use of nd filters is just a user whim. CPL filter is still useful. Hoping the firmware update coming soon.

This was tough for me to watch, had to return my Mavic Mini yesterday because the app is not compatible with my phone! Crazy! My phone isn't that old. Sorry to rant, just want to warn people to check their phone before ordering Mavic Mini! Great video as usual Captain!
