  1. I've had PS5 for a year and now with PSVR2 I will finally start using it. Super hyped about thew new possibilites and what Sony's first party studios can deliver. I'm of course counting on the Astro Bot Sequel which to this day is my favourite VR game…and I played most of them. OK Alyx was better, but Astro is the 2nd best. Happy New Year to all VR enthusiasts and to you Mike.

  2. The biggest issue about this for me is needing a ps5. i like the quest 2 because even if i didnt have a pc i could still use it. meanwhile the psvr 1/2 are bricks without a ps.

  3. I am disappointed that the PS VR2 isn't wireless. That alone is almost a dealbreaker for me. After the Quest I am not going back to tripping over cables ever again.

  4. imagine his. A haptic plug in device for quest 2. Smal, plugs into usb c ataches to headset, and prioovides haptic rumble effects. Like how we used to add rumble pack to n64. This would keep the entry price of quest cheap, but allow us to upgrade the haptics for those that want it.

  5. This headset looks great, the thing that gets me most excited though is the idea that Sony seem to be throwing their weight behind VR as more than just a gimmick.

New hardware is great but it needs great games to play. More AAA games like half life alyx, less job simulator experiences. (nothing wrong with job simulator, it's actually my girlfriend's favourite game) imagine a game like God of War in VR throwing that big axe and catching it with the haptic feedback.

If Sony start bringing out big VR games that sell well, it's going to make other developer's more interested in making big VR games which will push forward PCVR as well.

  6. Your predictions are 100% in line with what I've been saying for a long time. With many PS exclusives now being available on Steam, it's clear that Alex will be coming to PS. Furthermore, Valve would be crazy not to share content between platforms. I also think it makes 100% sense to have Psvr2 work on pc, especially with the shortage of ps5's out there. I'll go one step further and suggest that with rumours of Valve looking to partner with other gaming companies (possibility of Gabe retiring), it wouldn't surprise me if Sony don't buy Valve. Imagine…….bye bye FB! Thanks for the video.

  7. I'm sure that when I'm finally able to purchase a PSVR2 (or a PS5 for that matter) the next gen of VR devices/games will be out already…

  8. definitely getting this for my PS5. Hopefully it will work with PC as well. I think it would be a smart move by sony to allow PC compatibility. Sony continues to innovate while xbox continues to stagnate.

  9. I swear I thought of both your predictions today. There’s a good possibility both will actually come true. Definitely interested but I get turned off as soon as I think of how hard it was to buy a PS5. This is the VR that will make VR more mainstream than any other.

  10. This thing is going to be wired? LOL! What year is this, 2015? WOW, that's stunning. No way, no way, no way. I love VR, legit was interested in this until hearing it's wired. I HATE the wire, it ruins VR, it stops you from moving naturally. Oculus managed to make wireless streaming work on the Quest 1 and it wasn't even designed to do that, and Sony is making a wired headset in 2022? Stunning news, truly backwards thinking.

  11. Can’t even get a PS5 console due to Sony dropping the ball. Why even consider the PSVR 2. Boycott Sony for letting everyone down again over the holidays. Shame on them.

  12. 2:50 They will obviously use eye tracking for foveated rendering, because if you have fixed foveated rendering it defeats the whole purpose of eye tracking since everything besides the center is blurry so your only incentive is to look straight.

  13. are people fine they'll more likely be spending like $500 on a headset & $800 on a console and somehow people are hyped for this the controllers look really similar to Oculus touch motion controllers fishy & Sony also sucks at looks so they probably thought people liked the oculus quest 2 controllers they did the same thing but just added some pointless Roundy things yet they still suckin f*ckin ball that people are gonna be rolling. Everything that has been produced by Sony starting in 2005 is garbage. Yet still, I bet theirs gonna have to be like 80 cables & a camera just to use it like look at the PSVR I do NOT see the price-tag $400 to me the PSVR is just goggles with lens and pointless blue lighting and all these lies to spread that the PlayStation 5 is getting sold out everywhere my god I am sick of it so much video is getting paid to say OMG this HAPTIC FEEDBACK sounds so scripted to those gamers Corykenshin said that when playing the trashmorales only game that's kinda good on the ps5 the rest is garbage trending. The titles for all the consoles or VR headsets aren't special 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or Playstation VR or 2 we all know your gonna have to have an $800 dollar console with all these cables like the PSVR is total garbage like why did Sony put their brand on the no joy-con controller and the purpose of the lights on the top are for tracking. It's kinda sad how the resolution is a little better than the Oculus quest 2 & its is single while the PSVR2 is gonna need an overpriced console ($500) well the lens are trash than well Sony lacks everything so let's just guess the psvr2 is gonna be $500 like they've been doing this for years with all the brainpower they use to make trash but we know sony prob like $600 it is cool all these "features" the reason why I put quotes because their trash except eye-tracking but that kinda creepy going to Korea
