1. I'm sad to know that Fatal Fury hasn't made it to the list. It is such an iconic fighting game back in the old days. It was the first 2D fighting game that introuduced the two-plane system. Not too impressive for the fighting game community but definitely creative for its ambition at the time since 3D fighting game wasn't very well developed yet. I know it is probably not that popular compared to Street Figther series, but Mai Shirainui is so well-recevied by the gerneral public even people who don't play that game knows her.

   Not even Samurai Showdown is mentioned. When it came out at that time, it was so evolutionary that the kids nowadays have no idea.

11. Strive in the top 3 ??? Seriously?? Soul Calibur 2 , Virtual Fighter 2 , Mortal Kombat XL , Killer Instinc 2, Samurai Shodown 2, and the best fighting game ever made super street fighter 2 turbo should be ahead of strive crap, and marvel vs capcom 3 over marcel vs capcom 2??? 14. I used to love fighting games. My favorites were Street Fighter 2. Me and my brother used to spend hours on it getting thumb sores lol. MK2 and Killer Instinct. Tekken 3 was also a favorite was never really great at it but liked playing it anyway

22. I don't understand how some people think SF III is the "best" SF of the series, and on top of that praising the broken parry system. In fact is literally the opposite: most people hate that mechanic, the general consensus from the Japanese pros confirm it, the parry system is exactly what make SF3 the worst in the series and why most SF3 dedicated players only play that game and not the rest of the series, and vise versa. Most players prefer the most conventional SF game, with zoning and footsies, which the parry system breaks. HSF2, SF Zero 3, SF4, even SF5 are better than Sf3.
