  1. On my galaxy S10+ you can remove that, the phone can not be unlocked when you eyes are close or if you use a picture or video, you can desactivate that

  2. For me this tech seems stupid too. . I like to look at my phone pressing the button WHILE i am taking it out from my pocket to check the time on the locked screen. . When it opens up it might not open up on the "page" where the clock is and than i have to look at the small clock which is not that comfortable. . I don't know why people like to use this face bs..

  3. I think it was improves since 2019. I tried it with my Galaxy S20 FE with a photo and with a video (wtih faster recognition on or off) and it didn't work. I used my laptop sisnce I don't have a second phone on hand but I made sure that the edges of the screen were not visible.

  4. the POINT is…. if someone steals your phone…. would they even know who the hell you are?

like lets be honest 99% the time unless youre a celeb… they wouldnt be able to find a video of your face anywhere.

  5. You can secure it more by scanning yourself making a weird facial expression that no one knows of, then make that exact face whenever you unlock it lmao it works but the only downside is that you can't do it effortless and fast as a normal face scan since it's not your faces' natural resting position.

  6. My Galaxy S9 also has face recognition… and yes it's insecure… So instead of this feature, the fingerprint scanner is way better for me to unlock my phone.
I guess you have the same thought on the S10.
