  1. I had a spark, then the gimble broke. Best Buy sent it to dji, and a month later they were like, “it’s unfixable.” I was like, “ok, I get it. So where’s my drone?” They kept the fu#%ing thing. I was so mad I asked for a replacement. Best Buy, not DJI, gave me a new one – the mavic mini. I could rarely fly it because of the wind warnings constantly coming up. Eventually I got sick of never being able to fly it, so I began ignore the wind warnings. Well, I lost it to the wind today. I’ve never been so pissed off. First, my spark had object detection. So I never crashed it. Next, I never got the wind warning. The mini also has terrible reception, if not the controller. Who knows if it was the controller or the mini itself, but all I know is that my reception use to be better with the spark. In the long run, huge waste of money. I hardly flew it. They need to bring back the spark, and revamp it. Or, they need to fix the fuC# out of the mini.

  2. I have been looking into the dji drones, and this stood out to me. I want to get into flying drones whilst still having a better quality than a holy stone or a cheap one. I am going to be buying the mini 2 without a doubt. I am not worried about dark shots or star trails and such since I already have a gopro. This video was incredibly informational for me.

  3. Just bought the mini 2 cuz yeah it's my second drone and the mini 3 is still a bit expensive. This video and the comments tell me i made the right decision

  4. I just got a mini 2, my second drone. My first one is a cheapo $130 snaptain sp680. The mini 2 is sooooo much more stable in hover mode. Easier to fly and the cam is worlds better. Maybe I'll give my snaptain to my nephew for his Bday…

  5. Yeah especially if don’t want to pay over $500 for a good drone, this
one takes the cake. DJI too, great quality compared to anything else out
    there.

  6. I've been Mini 2 user for more that a year now and it's still satisfies me. I'm thinking about to upgrade to Air 2S but i will definitely keep my Mini 2 with me, it's my first ever drone.

  7. I just got the mini 2 on facebook marketplace for $250 and i must say im impressed, what a cool little thing this is, my only regret is that i didnt bought one before

  8. This will be my first personal drone purchase. You have talked me into the Mini 2. Thank you for giving the most honest content I have come across. And yup, I have subscribed.

  9. Can you HELP me with a little knowledge on my firmware updates on my DJI mini 2 . When I open my fly app it says I have 2 firmware updates. It says download then install. But when I Connect to my drone and app and controller it says my firmware updates are up-to-date on my aircraft firmware updates why is that?

  10. Can someone please help me . I have my DJI mini 2 switched to where my firmware will automatically download when connection to WiFi . But when I turn one my go fly app it says I have 2 firmware updates. Again but when i power everything is powered up it tells me my firmware is up to date.

  11. PISSED OFF BUYER….I will never ever buy another drone that uses a smart proprietary battery. The drone makers only make the batteries for a couple years then they stop. That leaves the drone buyer with an expensive drone he can no longer use. I have my Xiaomi MI 4K drone, which I really enjoyed, sitting useless now because there are NO BATTERIES…THANKS FOR NOTHING XIAOMI !! It wouldn't be so bad if they only cost $100 then after a couple years you get a new one. But they cost $500-$1500 or more and that is painful. THIS SUX AND IS A WASTE OF MONEY !! DJI, XIAOMI, AND OTHERS DO THIS. SHAME ON THEM ALL !!

  12. I've been a hobby still photographer for 35+ years with gradually increasing interest in video and higher quality gear over the years. Today, I use some of the best full frame gear out there (just for fun). Lately I've been becoming more interested in drone video and I've never owned or even used one before. A few days ago I zeroed in on the mini 3 pro and was getting ready to pull the trigger. This video just changed my mind. I will start with the mini 2 and, if interest continues, I will upgrade the camera and drone features as skills improve (as usual). Thanks!

  13. Really enjoy your work and have learned a lot. On the topic of the Smart Controller for the Mini 2: Comments are generally a year old and the DJI site now says that controller is not in production. Should I wait, or shop for a refurbished Smart Controller as an upgrade?

  14. Does the phone you use need to have a data connection? What I’m getting at is can you use a dedicated “old” phone as your monitor as long as it has the app downloaded, so you dont get phone calls while you are flying , or maybe you are searching for something like a lost dog or possession and you want to guide a helper to that location by calling them on your actual phone ?
