  1. The reason I don't care for turn based PRGs is because they are more about stats than visuals or physical interaction. Yakuza 7 is the only turn based RPG where your characters have actual physical contact. You knock enemies down, you grab enemies, etc. Not just some big graphic and 1 or 2 flinch animations.

  2. Harvest moon and story of season games have been completely trash just consiatntly for a very long time. Stardew valley dominated the genre and really set a standard that doesn't seem hard to hit, but they just under deliver every single time. Rune factory is really good because it set it'self apart in an awesome way. These harvest moon and story of seasons games just look like and play like bottom of the barrel facebook games, and it's horrific to think they charge full price

  3. When a game like SpongeBob gets the number 2 spot it feels like Gameranx top 10 of the months has become a sponsored sellout series.. as it has for a while and reason why I stopped watching them monthly.

  4. Almost none of this excites me… Where is the next gen games we were waiting for? Did I waste 600 bucks on an Xbox that will never reach its bottom potential?

  5. I was gonna say you forgot Clive and wrench but I just remembered that's coming in february. Is it sad that the game I'm pumped most about is a f***ing spongebob game lmao and maybe forspoken if it runs decent on steam deck

  6. Currently there are many very interesting games coming 2023, mostly sequels from Wolf Among Us 2 to Star Wars: Jedi Survivor and Remnant 2. But January has nothing to offer, so I just clear my backlog. Forspoken is one of those games that seems less and less interesting the more I learn about it. After the demo, I know I wont buy that.
