Hello, I'm Bae Sang Hyun, who's been insulted on Earth for writing a 6/10 review for GoW Ragnarok on IGN Korea. I just saw your video, and thank you so much for saying what I wanted to say well.
After the review was released, it's so painful for fans of the GoW around the world to insult me. Of course, I'm responsible for what I wrote, but it's true that it's something one person can't handle. I think everyone just needs to enjoy their favorite game and not stick to my review. I've just written 'one' generally unacceptable review that can come out because the world is wide.
I believe that various opinions can develop this industry. I may continue to write reviews from a different perspective. And I want to tell this to everyone. Just because I write a review with a different perspective doesn't change your gaming experience. Indeed, even it can't ruin the game. Play your game and write your honest subjective review or opinion. We were not born to be forced to think the same way. Actually, this is better for gamers too. This is because developers don't want to see negative reviews and try to make better games. In fact, you can see Cory Barlog(I like him and still believe he will make great works in the future) trying to create a cooler game to avoid negative reviews in GoW 2018 documentary. He actually said about that in the documentary. And, yeah, I will stand my ground, even if my opinion may not be valid for others.
And, I may not have enjoyed this game very much because I am an indie game developer. At least the indie games around me regard punctum, innovation, creativity, and author's voice as the best virtues. I live in that world, so I didn't fit into this game, which was designed comfortably for everyone to enjoy. My review represents the perspective of 'one' resident who living in that different culture. Therefore, it was inevitable that an evaluation would be different from a general review. Most reviewers are game journalists or full-time reviewers, but I'm basically a game developer and film director. I'm a 'guest critic'. Anyway, I strongly believe that my review was definitely a valuable review that gave this industry a different perspective. Nevertheless, I feel sorry for the fans of GoW who would have been hurt. I didn't mean to make you guys who play GoW Ragnarok look bad. I'm also a big fan of the GoW 2018. My review was like a letter to SIE and Santa Monica Studio. I'd appreciate it if you could understand that.
So, Alex, I feel grateful for what you said through this video. Thank you. And I sincerely hope that GoW fans can enjoy November 9.
P.S. I don't have an Xbox. I'm going to buy it when Starfield is released.

I gave this game a score of The last one sucked so bad I didn't buy it out of ten.
Funny thing is I have a PS5 and I loved gow 2018 and Ragnarok, BUT gow 2018 is the better game I'd go as far to say Ragnarok isn't even 10/10 worthy it's more like an 8 maybe a 9 at a push. The only thing that let's the game down is the games bigger scale, why? Because it hurts the games pacing to the point 7 hours before I finished the game I just wanted it to end and it just keeps going on and on. At first I thought it was just me but 4 of my work mates who all have completed the game too all have the exact same opinion that gow 2018 is far superior then I got into a conversation about the games pacing being it's problem and we all agreed that was the biggest problem, it does have others too that I'm not going to get into since their minor.

Not a fanboy and not an expert on gaming journalism, but shouldnt a review be fair and neutral. The game is out now for a few days already and what i have seen so far s not a 6/10. It may not be your type of game, but as a reporter reviewer or any kind of journalist you should do a neutral report on the matter and not judge it by your own standards. Like the writer in the pinned comment said, its not his type of game and i think here lies the real problem. He is not cut out for the Job or at least this time compleatly failed to do it right. Dont get me wrong that doesnt justify all the unnecessary hate comments from people, that went overboard. But from my standpoint the review is justly beeing criticized as a really bad review. Kinda like the Cuphead thing were the reporter saud the game is too hard, just because he couldnt do an air dash.

Hey @ohNoItsAlexx I play a lot of MMOs and i did try to play FFXIV. Once i began to give my opinion on the game after playing on stream… I felt like i was going to get virtually hit. I am not saying anything but i am pretty sure this MMO is on Playstation. I remember just not reading anything and just doing quests and this was NOT good enough for them. It was the worst time i spend in a mmo with fans. Not saying anything but Playstation fans (NOT ALL) are crazy lol

I played the game and i can honestly say its just DLC marketed as a full game. the story is written terribly and the gameplay offers nothing new.

I don't like Ragnarok because I hate Daddy Kratos and Insipid Loki along with the extremely linear faking open world. Combat is boring and feels clunky.
It's to far of a departure from the original series and the story is a mess, shoehorning in mythology and not even bothering to cover seams.
