  1. I have just installed it….the first hour was horrible for me….the party could not walk around and this was obliterating my sense of immersion…..running around like a monkey on coke couldnt let me appreciate the art and level design….until….i downloaded the "walk of life" mod from Nexus and the it was like the game finally opened its doors to me….incredible what this little mod has done for my enjoyment of this game…yet even more incredible is that Larian would go to the extent of letting you choose your penis' hairstyle, in a fantasy game…..yet they wouldn't allow you to walk around slowly in said game, where careful level exploration is key to success….i guess that is the woke generation for you…anyway though….the game is rapidly becoming something amazing I was not expecting….

I honestly hope what's in store lives up to the franchise's legacy…but I have a feeling i've been very wrong about what I thought the game would offer so far…

  2. Didn't think I'd like this one cause the combat is turn based and is very different from poe or diablo but I find myself craving more and I'm not even out of act 1. Also love the fact that there are no microtransactions which is extremely refreshing given the current landscape. Potential masterpiece and you can really tell the developers pouredtheir heart into this one. The story and your choices within it make it shine

  3. I will kill Laezel

    I will kill Hastin

    I will kill Wyll

    I will kill Gale

    I will kill Astarion

    I will kill Shadowheart

    I love murder.

  4. This feels like an alternate reality dragon age game if they stuck to the cprg elements on origins and expanded on their prior fantasy rpg history.

  5. I trust the reviewers.. I don't doubt this is a great game. Still, I don't think I'll get it for 3 main reasons:
    – It is massive and complex – which can be a good thing if I like everything about the game..
    – The dice – I really don't like the dice roll mechanic. I don't mind it being behind the scenes but I don't need to see the dice roll. It breaks immersion.
    – Turn based combat. I just don't like it. It's OK for strategy but in combat I find it very off-putting.
Despite that it seems good enough that I am wavering.
