  1. I'll agree that the DJI footage was epic, but the FPV footage gave me chills. Sorry, DJI… FPV for the win. Having said that, my first drone will be a DJI. DJI's are SO much easier to fly, and for what you get, the value is unbeatable. I want to get into FPV eventually, but not to start out.

  2. Hey don't expect you to respond but I just got my first fpv drone I can fly good on mode 2 attitude mode just full Throttle control but as soon as I go in advance mode/ acro I'm all over the place I cant keep it level just all over the place any tip?

  3. No one mentions that you can upload a lot of different flight controller software to achieve different goals on an fpv quad, if you use betaflight it's more about racing but then if you have a GPS with magnetometer on your fpv you can achieve the same stability with INAV instead of betaflight as a Mavic and have full auto landing and return to home stuff, and you can add sensors and stuff if you know some about soldering and sensors, anyway cool video

  4. I think both types of drones give cinematic results,
I don't like calling gimballed drones (regular) they're not. As they have a lot of tech..
I think fpv is exciting to fly but the video quality isn't there.. part of the reason the video looks exciting is the camera distortion that action cameras inherent.. then of course there's no gimbal and for good reason. At those speeds and low heights, you need the angle feedback to avoid crashing into rocks etc.
Gimballed drones are slower, have alot of tech to get slow higher quality footage and photos..
You can also get fast fpv type footage with gimballed drones by selecting fpv mode and speeding up footage in post. Obviously not the same but you can get close if you know what you're doing..
Personally I prefer gimballed drones over fpv for quality epic footage or photos.. for the excitement of faster flights I have rc planes with Gopro attached and fpv camera setup.. but that's strictly for play.. anyway that's my cheap to cents.
