  9. I request everyone to stop using huawei and honor products. I know they are great value for money. These brands collect GBs of private data not MBs. Recently I purchased honor watch for connecting it to my phone it required huawei app. I downloaded the app from Play Store but the app redirected me to huawei app download page. And when I downloaded and installed it from there it asked me for all the permission or else the watch won't connect to the phone the wierd thing was it asked for my media storage permission than battery exclusion permission moreover it asked me for background data usage permission I got little bit suspected and monitored the app and one day it used 1.3 GB data overnight when connected to WiFi. I immediately uninstalled the app and now my watch is useless. It's just for showing time. With their fitness band's its even worse. You cannot change date and time manually in those you need to connect them to the phone via app. And they will keep resetting the time after few days. So that you don't uninstall the app. These gadgets become useless after you delete the app. So please I request everyone to not fall for their traps. These are not only collecting your personal information but also your personal media like photos videos and may be some data can be private. 🙏

  12. Huawei is awful. I've seen my grandpa's phone, not saying where but it ain't the US. now,it's a phone from 2019 I believe and It runs horribly slow, and all the regular apps like phone, messaging, and even setting I think have ADS. FREAKING ADS!!! also, recently he was asking me to help him with something because ads for cleaner apps kept popping up on the home screen. they took up the whole screen and they would keep coming. ALSO suddenly new homescreen tabs were being made and they could not be deleted and is awful.

  14. I swapped my s21+ for a mate 40pro and never was i happier using the 1st one. I got all i need from buit quality to camera even in gaming (virtual L&R triggers for FPS games). But i must. Admit that the app store has a long way to go.

  15. I own a P40 Pro and have no major issues using it in Jamaica. I just keep my 5G switch off. Please talk about the USA politics instead of telling people not to buy it. It's a very good phone.

  18. How is it impossible to recommend? I have a mate 40 pro and a p40 Pro, everything works. Installed all my apps with alternative app stores. Great phones well worth it.

    I'd just like to ask : I'm not too concerned about the lack of Google Services, so which would you recommend between this Huawei Mate 40 pro and the Huawei P50 pro?

  24. Ok so I did some digging and Harmony Is is actually built on Android but no one knows that because Huawei tried to Hide it but u can side load all of the Google services on it to get the full potential out of it

  27. Honestly, even iPhone 13 hasn't catch up yet with that phone capacities. Control all your TV, take snapshots and play music without touching the phone, tap the both sides to increase/decrease volume, incredible picture quality (only Video Apple does better than it), though don't forget dual view video recording, 3D face unlock plush fingerprint sensor, incredible zoom. Honestly you won't miss GMS, I have iPhone but I love this phone more, in fact I use it for pictures and special events only. Event S22 hasn't catch up with the spec yet

  29. Wish Huawei could make a comeback to the United States so I can have the chance to buy a mate phone in the states. Also wish they'd stop putting a huge double holepunch on their displays and go single holepunch

  34. i am using this device from 1 year with my apple device , and apple is my secondary device , huawei mate 40 pro is the beast device even i never feel its slow down even memory is full 98%

  35. Bin handing mate 30 pro 5G,then goin for mate 40 pro 5G still,will continue buy Huawei till everywhere no matter wht ,tired of Google's spying on us,can leave without Google apps,for my info every app can be got on Huawei phones 🙄🤯🤯🤯👊👊👊

  37. The viewers DONT UNDERSTAND

    Huawei was banned from supplying to the US the UK and EU any networking device in these markets. In these markets routers were outlawed, phones, laptops,disconnected by ISP's from networks due to embedded spying hardware. Why would anyone be interested in any goods from this outlawed company or its sister company Honor ? Are you saying that a monitor with potentially embedded spyware is now suddenly not going to send your data back to china again? Are the firmware updates by Huawei going to activate or shutdown your device in the future for political reasons? Why would you review this item ? I see Talk Talk is trying to push a cheap job lot of Huawei routers which no one wants onto their customers, whom dont want them at All !
