Take all the time you need Nintendo. I'm absolutely in no rush for this game to come out if it means it's a high quality product.
This is great news. Much rather wait and get a great game.
Since this game probably won't release for another 3 years, that's plenty of time for another 2D Metroid game or remake in the meantime.
So Nintendo drops the ball and finally admits it ..its about time they own their mistakes.

They probably should not of announced the game like they did. It was more than likely way to early and used for hype when they didn't have any other releases .

This is way better then rushing a game out or scrapping it like Bethesda did, but for today especially, ALL DEVELOPERS should learn from want Capcom did with RE2 Remake & DMC5, ANNOUNCE the game JUST WHEN its more then 60, 70% done, 1 having 1 full trailer or full playable demo right at the announcement of the game!
And this is why I love Nintendo, the respect and care they have for their consumers is awesome
