IGN ratings are biased. Much better reviewers out there.
I think a 9/10 is WAY too generous. This game has way too many boring cutscenes of characters standing around talking endlessly, it holds your hand the whole way through and is incredibly easy. The individual locations also kind of lacked personality, I don't remember a single piece of music or town/route from this generation. And that's just a few criticisms off the top of my head.
What about all the Sunlight and the moonlight? Shouldn't this be a 0/10?

The cutscenes are aggravating, I feel like every 3 seconds I get taken out and I miss gyms Ive also found to to be much to easy, I ground up 3 levels before the first team skull fight and steamrolled the rest just cause I explored
