  1. And here's me still with an s9+ because I've not found the right phone. I do admit I came close with buying the s21 ultra but getting rid of the expandable storage was a huge deal breaker for me. So now I have to wait another 3 or so years to get used to phones being without micro sd slot. I genuinely don't even think I'll buy the s23 ultra because it may be a small upgrade just like this phone

I want Samsung to bring back the s21 ultra design. I want them to make their screens go from top to bottom just like they go from left to right. I don't like the small bezel at the bottom, I want them to go actual edge to edge from all four corners. I want the screen to be more flat too

I want them to improve the front facing camera. Also want them to go further in their periscope lens as we've had 3 years now of 10x and I also think it's time to get a new and improved ultrasonic finger print scanner. They've had the so called second generation for two years now. Hopefully it's time for a third generation one

Nonetheless I am most likely skipping s23 ultra unless they improve everywhere where I want them to improve starting with adding that 200mp camera. Battery life needs to improve too. Like better than both this years and last years ultra. I guess the phones speakers can be better too. I'm not expecting the video to get better, no matter how hard they try, they're always behind on the iPhone. There's so much work to do for next year's Samsung ultra

I wish they did what iPhone did and made a smaller version of their ultra. IPhone have Pro and pro max, Samsung need a smaller version of the ultra with the exact same specs except the obvious ones being different like battery and screen size

  2. Are there any new key features of the s22 ultra? I know the spen comes with it and some camera improvements but is there anything else new to be excited about?

  3. 5:12 flashbacks of my math teacher being unable to draw stars and we would just nitpick her until she yelled at us to be quiet 😛
(edit: we were a buncha middle school brats lol)

  4. Anyone with the S22U–do white backgrounds look weird on the edges of the phone? Like, you're looking through the screen and can see a shadow? I feel like I'm looking at frosted glass rather than a solid screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

  5. I received mine two days ago but I'll be switching it with the 12GB variant.

8 gigs is too slow and there's hardly any difference between my s22 ultra and the s10+ that I want to upgrade from – so it's not the OS.

12 GB is in my opinion the new sweet spot.

  6. I did the upgrade dance with my s21 ultra due to buying a 128 gig thinking I'd be fine I was not .. now as I like to call it the notes 22 has 512 , as of right now the s22 ultra is unstable my one ui 4.1 is buggy as sin and I can't even delete some of the apps I wanna get rid of as when I do Uninstal they come back I also get a purple line in my phone when play full screen video on wqhd+ so I'm just using it in fhd I've also noticed the ram and battery usage is erratic as sin too hopefully 1st update fixes many issues , lastly from s21 to 22 I hear my 21 vibrate better but when in my hand or pocket I feel my s22 more then I hear it but I don't feel the s21 as much so milage may vary

  7. much prefer the vibrator where it has moved, i swear it used to be quieter on my s20, then had an update and even though adjusted the intensity its still far too loud/intense. this will be a lot better for me.

  8. Got my S22 Ultra on Monday having had a Note 20 Ultra for the last 18 months. All in all, very similar form factor so not a great change but there are certain things that are so much better. The main thing i have been blown away with is the improvement of the Sonic fingerprint sensor. Its so much better than the first Gen that's on the Note 20. And that makes a big difference day to day. It doesn't have a factory fitted screen protector like my note did but they are going to be available to buy from Samsung imminently. Ill be getting one as this was a bit of a life saver on my previous phone. Screen and Battery are great but ive taken the res down to 1080 again. Not sure 1440 is really necessary on a phone and certainly the battery life is always more valuable. But great to see it can now do 1440p 120hz

There are a couple of niggles i am having though. 1, loading web pages causes the screen to go black. Ironically when i click the Samsung logo at the top of their website, it does this too. very odd. Secondly, the scrolling doesn't seem as smooth. Like its spending more time thinking about the content than just scrolling. When I'm scrolling through contacts or photos its great, but anything with a bit of web content and its struggling more than my note 20 did under the same circumstances (Wifi etc.). I'm hoping both these things will be ironed out with subsequent updates as i appreciate i have my hands on it very early. I am yet to test the camera capabilities fully but with a wedding coming up this weekend, im sure ill have a play.

  9. I have the iPhone 11 Pro and I was thinking about buying one of these to replace it. I’m my area they’re offering the galaxy buds, a case and the fast charging brick for a 1099 usd( 256gb). Should I go for it or wait for the iPhone 14? Never had a note but I just tried and it’s much more easier to handle the the iPhone pro max , and it does look good 😅

  10. Anybody else getting tired of these "reviews " ? …like who cares that it can pull up Instagram
.0001 milliseconds faster, I want to know things like battery life, 5g connectivity, wifi speed etc. I don't care that this year if I take a picture of my dick you can zoom in on the individual hairs on my balls , I need them to focus on productivity and connectivity etc.

  11. I still have the Note 9, so I'm excited that Samsung has finally given me a GOOD phone (with s pen) to upgrade to. This will be quite the upgrade for me.
