  1. To me upgrading from iPhone 10 to 12 was only because i drop 10 and it go brokey . But as normal user in my daily not intensive use , dont see much of a difference between my old 10 and 12 …so my point is , how apple gonna convince me to upgrade (i wount but ) how they would when then new 14 is the same as the old 13…

  2. iPhone X was pretty much the peak. That phone came out 5 whole years ago and besides the camera it’s maybe 10% worse than the newest phones.

  3. maybe provide the triple camera system on the 14 using the iPhone 13 camera system. since the 14 is getting a major mega pixel bump it might be a big enough difference that it will still entice people to go with the pro.

  4. Oh no, they’re dropping the mini?! I mean we kind of saw it coming but it still bums me out to hear it’s basically confirmed. Replacing it with another behemoth is just rubbing salt in the wound.

  5. Do you think Iphones will switch to USB C soon, or do you think they will skip that step, and directlygo to wirless charging as a main way of charging, and use the lightning until then?

  6. I still believe that the normal 14 still comes with A16, but it may have less cores like on M1 Macs and even current iPhones(M1 with 7 or 8 GPU cores, A15 with 4 or 5 GPU cores).

  7. What if they keep they get rid of iphone 13 entirely once the 14 releases? Similar to how they get rid of the past years pro models before a new pro releases

  8. Small tweaks are not upgrades its just a marketing strategy to keep launching something new every few months.
Yes, mobile tech definetly not peaked but camera centric upgrades are frustrating.
People need faster charging and longer batteey life but Reputed companies like Apple, Samsung are reluctant to brought under 30minutes full charge !!

  9. The a15 also has 2 variants , one with a 5 core gpu in the 13pros and the 4core gpu in the regular 13s , I’m hoping the a15 in the iPhone 14 will be the 5 core version

  10. Samsung is doing better. Remember the phones that slide up to text?! Remember when iphones were so much more high end. Lol samsung is gonna kill it apple make a rollable phone folding phone bring back the headphone jack something?

  11. The phone as in, the physical thing itself? No. That hasn't peaked and won't be so until the internals stopped improving.

But the user experience or what we do with them and how we're doing it? Aside from the Galaxy Fold and Dex/Ready For…. Yep

  12. I currently have a 12 debating if I'll get a 13/13pro instead of the 14/14 pro because we're definitely at a point where the 2 most recent models are just so dang similar. But if the 14 really does come without the notch that would be compelling for me in addition to the amazing cameras, I REALLY hate the notch.

  13. Its not a big deal, Androids are still trying to keep up with the iPhone 12 😂🤣 So I don't blame Apple for taking this route when they have such a lead

  14. It's just slight upgrade. And after changing few phones, and in the end you notice only certain "features" are really functional in daily use. Others are so like okay feel, okay to have but it's good if not having it too. The hype is not there as much now. I only pick my fav brand and design then just stick to it until the next better design phone.

  15. The iPhone peaked in 2007. But seriously I used to be the person who bought every iPhone but I haven’t upgraded since iPhone X bc it’s the same old shit I use to scroll Instagram and YouTube

  16. In relation to smartphones, Samsung/Apple flagships have been excellent for the last 2 years but improvement is incremental. 3 years of ownership is possible now. The flip/fold will be great in maybe 2 gens. However, some improvements counter recent design changes, 8k video needs removable storage and I still miss the FM tuners and IR – they were genuinely useful.

  17. My guess is this: either this rumour is BS or Apple will simply stop selling the iPhone 13, but also the iPhone 12 mini. And I mean only the 13 and 12 mini.

They would keep the 12 and 13 mini, the 12 at 499, the 13 mini at 599, the 14 at 699, the 14 max at 799, the 14 pro at 999, and the 14 pro max at 1099 (or even 1199)

  18. See, I actually think that we would never reach smartphone peak, the tecnology is progressing in a very stable and progressive way and after a certain amount of time there’s always a new technology that arrives. Obviously the innovation will slow down, but that’s not a bad thing, with this change in the iPhones, 1/3 or so of the people that normally would buy the new iPhone would wait until next year so less pollution.

  19. I think smartphone has reach it's peak optimum design. Today's smartphone are almost the same. Remember when in 90's, phone are really exciting because the manufacturer gives you different design and feature.

  20. I’m sure apple is going to optimize a lot of things to give higher clock speeds regardless on the new devices. I’m not waiting around for 14, it looks like the 13pro max is what im getting and if it’s anything as sturdy as my XS max.. the things a tank. I honestly could go another few years if I just took it to the apple store for some TLC and a battery replacement.

  21. Chip shortage isn’t the issue… Apple did this to make more money because people have always bought the non-pro Iphone the most for decades…. because of that Apple purposely did this so ppl can buy the pro more
