  1. Review after purchase: I bought this and its underwhelming. It is very heavy and bulky compared to a laptop screen which makes it constantly fall down and both of my laptops cannot fully hold it and i need to put something in the back. Also the stand is very bad usability and only really works in one specific angle. The worst is the connectivity. It does not connect like an external screen but via a software that is very laggy and creates issues for my Mac. I have no idea why they not simply made it an external display… I would not buy it again!

  2. Can’t believe none of them seemed to know what Ubuntu is. One of the most popular Linux distros on earth, and it didn’t seem like a single one of them had even heard of it. And these guys are supposed to be techies lmao

  3. no one has managed to get this right. 1) it shouldnt be a usb connection, but an internal display connection same as main screen right to motherboard and 2) should be flush against the main screen and deployable by press of one button with

  4. Worst review ever! Why don't you wait till you have used it for a year before you review it. Plus it's like you didn't even care. Reviews are your products that you issue. This was extremely lackadaisical. I will go elsewhere for a proper review. This is just a "reaction video" of an "experiment" in which they couldn't even answer their own questions that their own people brought up during the video.

  5. I have purchased a MP Trio in March
2021 but would like to summarize my comments per following notes for easy read:

I have high hope and eager anticipation after I bought your MP Trio for my laptop and I consider myself an “early adopter” for any IT related products.

The package arrived later than usual by Fedex and tax has to be paid (receiving it in Taiwan)

The packaging of my MP Trio is a little simple and not quite have the “high end” feel

The MP Trio installation is super easy but the instruction as to how to line up the edges may need a little improvement. But after installation, the “needs” of edge alignment become obvious.

My straight and most important comments would be as follow:
the screen is way too heavy and need to be addressed in next generation

The hinges of the screen is unexpectedly weak, cannot keep screen at right angle and I am sure it won’t last more than a month if all the possible positions will be used by users interchangeably

In fact, I flipped my screen to try on portrait standing to the flipped reverse displaying at the back of laptop screen, the hinges are already failing and tend to jam the screen edges apart

The weight of the screen wont allow a laptop stand to be used
..as the weight of the screen will till the laptop sideway.

The weight of the screen will also slowly slide the screen down the back of my laptop since the four magnets just won’t hold it in place strong enough.

The overall quality is just not to the required standard for it to last for a year or intended mobile use
..unless the Trio will be used and stay at one position.

I cannot imagine how it will hold if an additional third screen will be added. I also supposed the Trio Max is even heavier.

    Screen pixel quality is good.

    Installation is a snap.

My recommendation is not to buy it. The product is still like its in its proto type stage.
