  1. Holy crap the begging was absolutely INSANE! I thought it was a animated cut scene till you started moving your hands! I pray I can plan this future VR tech soon!

  2. Shooters have never been my thing, so while I loved Half-Life: Alyx, it was the best VR game I've ever played, it wasn't my type of game.

This is. I might have to buy a PSVR2, just for this.

  3. Mike, have any PS VR2 games with smooth turning/locomotion made you feel headaches/nausea? I suffered from this on PS VR1, which I think was due to reprojection and low native frame rate. Many thanks!

  4. Got a shipping notification. Definitely looking forward to it.

Question: with this game, are you able to have multiple save files? So if I wanted to show someone the opening scene in VR, it wouldn't erase my progress like some other games do.

  5. Looks fantastic. It is understandable that this game is so handholdy for the player especially that it is a launch title, but PlayStation must make their VR games more realistic in term of mechanics and difficulty in the future. Something along the line of BoneWorks, BoneLab, HL Alyx, TWD Saints & Sinners, Blade & Sorcery.

I mean, there is truly no need for every climbable rock to be outlined with white paint for me to figure out that it is climbable and that this is the direction I have to head, or for every door and interactable thing to be wrapped with yellow robes. These things make many players feel st*pid. We should be able to explore without holding our hands. Or that ridiculous unrealistic long distance strafing/dodging. When we play games in flat screens and our character dodges this far we can accept that, but when WE are in game, and our character which is represented in US moves this way it feels really odd and unrealistic. We also deserve to have full bodies in-game now with these high end specs and with the latest achieved technologies concerning that, or at least to use inverse kinematics (IK). All such details must be truly looked at more carefully by the developers to make the VR games as realistic as possible in a fantastic world. Yes even in fantasy there should be a level of realism, especially things that are related to the body and ability of the player, to make it feel real.

I am sure that these changes achieve a better feel overall.

  6. Off topic! But why are gaming companies (specially western) now started creating dull, average look female character. I'm sure devs can create beautiful 8-9 looking female but aren't. Even games like gta 6 used a 4 out of 10 female. I'm not saying all women should look model but they need to look above 7, cute face and their voice need to be soft and their character need to more caring.

  7. What VR needs is a game like FIFA VR not a crappy first person remake just the regular game but in VR top down view . For the life of me I do not understand why 3rd person Vr is not more of a thing. Moss shows that you can do great games like that

  8. PSVR2 will be my first journey into VR anything. I think this video is great, but the experience in the headset adds realism I cannot appreciate watching this video. It looks very immersive. Sony is a powerhouse for gamers everywhere. They are at the pinnacle of gaming today.

  9. I am so amped to get to play this and re8. Also does the artic 7+ HEADSET work with the 3d effect? I have a set that I planned on using
