  2. You can rack up one win today, skin tones look like skin tones. Kasey, you didn't look like you were freshly poached prior to recording in this video… go-go Gadget white balance!

  3. You only need 8 Mega pixels for 4k 240p. Or even better 1080p
8 Megapixels on a modern aps-c sensor would be so good. Not only the high frame rate, you're going to get so much better dynamic range.

  4. Whatever Panasonic is gonna do next should be pretty good. If the s5 ii is their entry level full frame camera. How good is their flagship gonna be? I’m thinking it’s gonna be pretty impressive. It’ll probably be announced when they release the s5iix.

  5. What's wrong with smartphone cameras? Hmm… crappy colors, plastic skin, and choppy cadence to name a few. You were wrong about the G100; it wasn't deserving of all the hate you put on it. Why did you NEVER get the E-M5 iii or OM-5? It WAS perfect with the Pany 9mm.

  6. I feel like the R8 with RF 24mm will be a great vlogging combo as long as lens IS plus digital is good enough stabilization. Uncropped 4K60 at that price point in such a small and light body seems pretty innovative to me.

  7. its amazing to me that these phone cameras have all this magic software yet it doesn't get applied to larger sensors. Moonshot I think DJI will be the one to surprise us with something new based on how innovative they have been. DJI Ronin 4d is genius and their modular action cam is decent. I have a Sony QX1 (2014) that I pair with a Zhuyin crane m2 (2020). Great set up for what I use it for. I based this on the DJI Osmo (2014) handle and Zenmuse X3 drone camera. I think they were the first to introduce this one handed gimbal style. They had the original Osmo handle then they had the 4k version and then the x5. All very cool but ahead of their time, before vlogging was as widely "accepted". I was a product placed right in the middle of pro and beginner before there was a big market for it. Are you familiar with the DJI Osmo handle or the Sony QX1?

  8. I have had the exact experience with a couple of Herons that travel up and down a river near me. Frustrating! That hat made you look like Atilla the Hun in that slo-mo attack with the branch. What are the odds that Fuji executives will take advantage of this void and make the X-S20 the perfect vlogging camera? The body size is pretty nice. Could they make it happen? What kind of meeting would it take to make that happen? Fun stuff, have a great week.

  9. GO PRO Hero 25 will be the perfect camera! You are going to have to wait about 14 years! It will be amazing! 16K 30fps to 3000fps but no 1080p. It will be easy to edit on your Windows 15 or 20 PC! as long as you have 64TB of ram and a 500TB SSD. The future is bright son.

  10. Good afternoon Casey , i recon You need a phase detect G9 mk2 light enough for vloging with your kind of slow mo including auto focus in slow mo in 120 4k and 480 HD as Panny HD is great as well , not to much to ask i recon . and keeping it lighter than the gh6 , sorted .
never bought a smart phone , i hope i never have to , some people are calling the smart phone the stupid phone these days . yep the world system gets thicker as the tech gets smarter LOL. chow

  11. Oppo n2 Flip looked promising but then those geniuses disabled the 4k when using the cover screen
Why is it that those pea sized sensors don't output decent quality video if it's not the sensors max video res?

  12. GigaChad doesn't color grade. He shoots log footage correctly in camera accounting for middle grey while running n gunning then applies his custom PowerGrade in Resolve featuring his custom corrective LUT created manually with DSC Labs ChromaMatch Pro color chart with 1 click to all his footage. Here's proof: https://youtu.be/3cGK2Ugnk64

  13. If You rally wonna upgrade Your movie content, I do strongly suggest You to go to movie academy, and learn how to become director of photography (or how to color grade). Photo/video gear these days is close to perfection. There is hardly nothing to improve, but You keep trying to find better and better camera gear – for what? This is not the way to improve 😉

  14. Hi Kasey, I love just going out with my camera in the middle of nowhere and relaxing, i can’t do that with my phone. for me it is escapism, time off, away from it all.. no, the smartphone doesn’t replace my camera at all, there’s a lot to be said for cameras now and there will be for a hell of a long time to come.. thanks for your insight.

  15. For on 5K CAD you can buy the FX3 vlogging camera body (a7sii with a flippy screen). ack…. Maybe when the new Sony APSC comes out I will be able to afford an a6600

  16. @Camera Conspiracies Hey Kasey any GoPro from the 9 and up is the best vlogging camera. I dont think it will be long before your vlogging camera requests are met by either sony or dji. GoPro will have to make a specific camera that moves away from the action to really meet your demands, but for sure I think they have the capabilities. I mean all they really need is a good build in directional mic right?

  17. What an allegorical event: The herring flew away much like our dreams of the perfect camera. This is why I have stopped buying new gear and using the stuff I have, granted. the limitations are high, but the knowledge of not having to spend $$$$ to be disappointed is priceless. Ideally we want the perfect camera to be affordable and meet our every expectations, but who could afford it, the more you add the more it costs. Canon and these other brands understand there is a limit to the cost of a mass produced camera. Planed obsolescence is real as our planet is flat! So we are stuck…between the dome of our dreams and the realization of our camera desolate field.

  18. I have heard they had a meeting and were talking about how the perfect vloging camera would have the best slow motion… I'll be honest, the only vlog i would watch in slow motion is yours! 🤣
