I am going to miss these Gen 2 cars, Gen 3 feels too far from the look of the classic kind of body shapes of the greats of late 90s to mid 2000s for 'manufacturer relevance'? and these Gen 2s are already pretty far off with some of the livery choices really emphasizing the mustangs front end that just doesn't feel likke the amazing livery//car combos of the past
Was working at the National Library at the time when these races were held, you could hear the roar of the engines inside the building as they came off that final turn and fired up the main straight…ahhh good times, will never happen again as ACT Govt are a bunch of artsy fartsy fun haters now…
The AU looked great as a race car. Very underated vehicle.
