  1. My church teaches Christianity a little differently. I've been taught while asking for forgiveness and stuff is essential, you can't do it and just get away with stuff. If at any point you're trying to work around the system and make up excuses for doing bad things, you're no longer in the right place until you actively seek to stop doing those things. While everyone sins, that doesn't mean we should all say screw it and do what we want. Also, while hell is a pretty scary concept, it's not necessarily meant to be a scare tactic. It's more of a thing that God just tries to steer us away from. The teachings aren't exactly about not living a horrible afterlife but are more so meant to be explaining how to live a happy life and afterlife. As for people dying and not getting the opportunity to be a part of Christianity, that's why spreading the word is such a huge deal in this religion. The goal is for everyone to be a part of it so nobody gets screwed over by their situation, despite how difficult that is to make happen. I don't blame you for getting the outlook on Christianity you have right now, though. There's so, so many different Christian churches out there that all teach the word in completely different ways, and a lot of them just simply aren't getting it right. I suggest looking into attending a different church and finding the right community, if you ever want to give it another chance.

  2. Honestly I can see gloves like these only being applied for a few things.

Professional training applications like flight simulators and medical procedure training.

    Demo's and tours

Gimmicks for a few games maybe

But mainly the virtual reality porn industry ofcourse (c'mon we were all thinking it…)

  3. Not sure if haptic gloves will make sense for gaming, as you say, in all honesty I'm way more interested in a haptic rifle at this point, but then I do like my shooters ?

  4. I understand that some can have some kind of phantom pain from being, for example, virtually punched that are caused by the brain but I’m wondering if this could lead to other “phantom feedback” types

  5. Wait, what if you combine these gloves, a valve index, a high power PC, a full haptic suit, and the temperature face thing, do you get a fully immersive VR set for the low low price of like, a Lamborghini?

  6. I bet it would be good practice for doctors birthing babies so they can see if they were grabbing/twisting/pulling the baby too hard to get it out
