Damn. Such potential. Such letdown
Oh man, that voiceover is really horrendous.
A damn shame our youthful memories have been ruined by this. Kudos to the reviewer for persevering through it so we don't have to!!!
Honestly looks like theyve captured the original perfectly…..with the terrible controls lol
This is so sad
Actually looks like it has potential, but my gosh it's rough.
Why do developers even bother releasing games where serious bugs are evident in the first moments of playing? There's no way they didn't see those problems themselves they just decided let's get our money now and deal with the problems later. Disgraceful!
This is pathetic. The original looks, plays and runs better in every single aspect.
Oh boy, how bad has a game to be, to get a 1 or even a 0? This game is completly broken.
So basically a recent game that reflects and reminds us the state of the game industry
Brilliantly entertaining review of an absolutely dogshit looking game.
"You can use your gun Conrad, there's no jammer here."
Gun jams.
Comedy gold.
These developers and publishers should be ashamed of themselves!! Us gamers need to start a movement where we refuse to put up w this anymore and then maybe things will change! SMH!!
Why in the world do they still make games where you can't FREELY adjust the controls to your liking? I've never liked this Control Scheme A or B-only crap and it's even worse when on PC, where it should be mandatory to REMAP them freely on the keyboard & mouse. This seems to be a nasty trademark from Microids, which I've encountered on the latest TinTin adventure game, 2018 Flashback remaster, and this Flashback 2. Any game that doesn't give that freedom to adjust controls is an automatic pass and a ZERO/10. Even Emulators for old NES, SNES or Sega games give you freedom to adjust the controls in any way you want.
I'm shocked he even pulled thru to finish the game
Loved FB as a kid, was excited to see this video and the possibility of a cool pt 2… what an epic fail. Please never ruin Another World / Out of this World like this
Low key GOTY.
This sounds like it was deeply painful to review.
2/10! Whoa, that's brutal.
This was a refreshing review to see. All too often nowadays, reviewers seem hesitant to say how they really feel about awful games because they're afraid of being blacklisted for advanced review copies in the future. But this review doesn't pull any punches. WTG IGN.
How does a game with so many critical flaws even get a 2
They should have kept the aesthetic from the first one.
Wow! Someone worked hard to get this one done!
ouch
Plot twist, it's really a puzzle game and getting through the bugs is the real objective.
Such a shame the first game was ground breaking
But who on earth made this as the remake was a flop and disater
Tristian's reviews are the best! Triple his wage and have him do all the video reviews.
Oh boy, another cynical cash grab.
A mess
the boss fight was hillarious hahahha
So, according to this review, Flashback 2 has more or less the same problems as Starfield.
When it was announced from Microids, we knew this would be the outcome. They make Gameloft look like Capcom.
Oh no you killed the Night Terror, you monster! All it wanted was candy…
