  1. my CSJ S167 drone does not show up on my phone but it does on my computer wifi modem, any ideas, how to connect my drone to my phone?

  2. I am going to give this drone 1 star. If I have to calibrate every single time I turn this thing on, and it's a very iffy connection this becomes a useless toy. There's no "smart" drone capabilities it should be a simple connection to get this thing started. Does anyone have better instructions?

  3. I can verify, after 40+ flights, this is a pretty nice drone. It works well off the controller without ANY phone or app. I got 350M range in fairly bad weather without GPS engaged. Battery flight time around 15-20mins. It works well on the app too. GPS altitude lock is very forgiving. It is not designed for severe weather but can take a fair pasting. Best way to use this one is record to the onboard micro SD and just fly by eye. The video off the chip is around 60fps .Avi. When using it from the phone, the direct feed is around 30fps.. It is a very nice beginner drone and loads of features that some pricier units have. The camera is missing stabilisation or PTZ but it IS very sharp. It is worthy. If you have used a Tello or similar drone, or are highly competent with tech stuff, you can get some nice video out of this. Long range i am unsure but without interference, around 500m should be achievable in practice max safe range. Unfortunately it won't lift a gopro. I got the S167 which is slightly newer.

  4. I haven't found it for under $100. But the packages I am looking at come with 3 batteries. So I'm wondering if that is why the price is a bit higher.

  5. Forget the instructions… just use this video…ifyou can not get it to work. Hit the lock in screen controls.Controller icon then lock icon.

  6. Hi, sorry if I disturb you, I have the same drone, but I can't find anywhere the serial of the drone or that of the remote control to register it on the dflight website, but is it normal?

  7. This was the biggest waste of money I spent so far. I tried three different phones to search for satellites and couldn't find any. I am waiting for a response from the seller(%days) so far. Sorry Steve. I always trust your reviews. Just got sent a bad unit this once. Take care and I will always trust your opinion. Peter

  8. Thanks for sharing this video. May you "teach" me how to use the control sticks? I don't understand the included manual and I prefer to ask you…
Thank you; this Is the Best video I've seen about this drone; I just bought one.
Sorry about muy english, I'm doing my Best.

    Greetings from México City.

  9. I bought this drone because of your review. I saw it on line for under $100 and wondered if it was a good beginner drone. Watching your review helped me decide to get it. I'm glad I did. I watched your review everyday until it arrived so I would be able to be comfortable with set up, the controller and what to expect. It paid off! I had a great time, took great video and just hit return home when I got a little nervous or unsure. That feature alone is worth the cost. Thanks again.

  10. Hi Captain. I purchased one of these drones. Excited as hell when I received it. Read the manual, watched more videos, and completely disappointed in this drone. Yes, I'm a beginner, but why I'm disappointed is, I followed the calibration procedure numerous times, but to no avail, when I engage the auto lift to hover, the drone takes off as if I were steering it. Do you have any suggestions?
