Top 10 Fastest Electric Bicycles with Motorbike Speeds (2018 Prices and Specifications)

What is the fastest you can pedal on a bicycle? We would say around 25 miles per hour if you have a decent racing two wheeler and are in a good shape. But would you want to go faster?

Electrically powered bicycles allow you to do just that and their top speeds can reach 60 miles or 100 kilometers per hour.

That is incredibly fast and probably not safe, but we are not here to judge whether a thrill ride is worth compromising one’s safety. In this episode we have prepared a lineup of the fastest electric bicycles that exist today and could be bought if you are a true fan of fast riding.

  1. What you have designed, is a rich man's toy. You won't be getting the average Joe on it. Not at that prices. If average Joe has family they come first. Only selfish people would drop 5 or 10 grand on a toy. Next time look for your target audiences on he level of the filthy rich. Because average Joe is on an build it yourself gas powered bicycle. Thank You.

  2. Make those motors faster and faster. Don't let any government get involved in the regulation of ebikes! It's the only way ebiking will expand.

  3. I miss the "Red RSR" by swiss manufacturer Back2Green.
Power is up to 10kW, Topspeed over 60MPH and a Range of about 60 miles.

  4. Just get a Sondors for 10% of the price of these bikes with just as good of performance. Seriously, these bikes are MASSIVELY overpriced. Sondors is the only realistically priced e-bike on the market unless you build one yourself.

  5. If they make street bikes to fast idiots will be reckless & than cause more regulations . Keep them low speed & save the sport stuff for off road or it gets registered like a motor bike. I think age should apply . Some states will impound the bike if under 16yrs. old. & or a fine otherwise for unregistered e- bikes over 20mph .

  6. all so expensive and not one of them looks good design wise. Onyx's RCR bike is smashing the competition right now though, and for not that much at all.

  7. The pussified generation thinks 35 mph is fast lmao. A fair price and fast e bike for me would go 60 mph minimum and cost $2,500 max. I have not inherited daddy's millions blue collar and hell I like to go fast and have testosterone not estrogen like the mangina betas of today. I am a old school man.

  8. Take a look at Alta Red Shift electric motorcycles. They are cheaper than these bicycles, with so much more power, greater range and offer greater power to weight ratio.
You would have to be an idiot to by one of these bicycles over an Alta Red Shift.

  9. the highway code requires your consent. the roads belong to us the restriction is in one's mind ie no number-plate/tag no ID and the police can't chase you. if you want a 60 mph ebike just get on with it

  10. These are motorcycles. Effectively. E-Bikes and tiny electric cars which you can put on trains for long distance travel are the future.

  11. Unfortunately what ever bike you are gonna buy from that list its rules are annoying if I need a damn licence to drive a e bike why do I even want to buy one then… That was the whole point of e bikes Fast. Small. But if I have to have a licence to drive one why not just make motorcycle one and buy a real motorcycle thats sad how this shitty system works thats why only one reasonable bike from that list is the grype 12 cuz of its 24 kmh Street option and other 2 for Off road OR Street with licence..

  12. in not so fr away future, when ebikes will be on daily basis, then ebike stunt and ebike champions will appear. Now we need cheeepeeeer batteries:))

  13. I think limiting the speed of an electric bike would be a hard thing to enforce. There will always be individuals and companies that make upgrades for higher illegal ebike speeds. Instead of limiting speed, why not license levels of capability, so one earns the right to go faster. If you want to die on your bike, that's your business. If you want to drive into the side of a house at 40mph and do so while not having bike insurance, go for it. Just get ready for prison while in a body cast. Let the dumb beware.

  14. I just went and made my own. I took a Santa Cruz superlight and put I'm a 52.2 v battery to a BBSHD motor. I ride it highly illegally. It weighs maybe 50 lbs and i can race cars with it cost me $5000 or so to make. I have had it to 50 but the acceleration is insane.
