  1. Wow just awesome footage! And super big brass balls hitting those gaps at that park with that tune? But theres so much endless possibilities you could do with a setup like that!

  2. hexacoptor 10in with gimbal and go pro is a neat setup also my buddy built one fairly inexpensively realtivley he has about a grand into his

  3. Great project Nurk, though I problably would have made a dummy with the exact weight of the BMcam and tune the quad with the dummy to perfection before mounting the real thing onto that badass quad. Gonna keep an eye on this project

  4. use Gh5, image quality is somewhat comparable, most importantly it has 5axis IBIS, pair that with a stabilized lens…

  5. I never see a person putting a fly stabilizer switch so it would sit in one place or u would be able to hit a certain altitude and u could flip that switch and fly like it's a jet smooth and steady fr

  6. The sigma FP when that comes out might be a good option to look at. Bigger sensor than the blackmagic for better low light performance and should be a tad smaller overall. It is supposed to still support 12bit DNG at 4k/30 also.

  7. I really love seeing stuff like this. Excellent job. You should do a "target acquired" alien drone type edit on that beast. The slight wobble would have an interesting effect on the mood even. Kind of scary/erratic.

  8. 3:12 the “easy” way to describe this class of camera is MFT.
But I guess we’ll keep referring to SOOC footage as RAW, from a GoPro anyway, so ??‍♂ī¸

  9. I’v been wanting to build this for awhile now, after watching Beverly Hills aerials , where can I buy this frame?

  10. Monster POV chasing down victim in forest!,… Or,.. Cine cam doing low pass over model surface – like the 'Trench Run' from Star Wars, but with bigger models to be able to have sharper details for modern cameras.
Global Shutter from the BMD Production Camera 4K might get rid of that last little bit of wobble. Maybe see if there a Pancake Lens that can use a small Anamorphic?
If the flight time could push out to about 15 minutes, it'd make an interesting platform for live shots at motorsport events.
Once it's tuned, maybe pitch shooting a one-take video with OK GO – band playing while driving a convertible, and have the camera drone swap around from the band to other performers in other cars and trucks.

  11. Why the motors are tilted this way? Is it for better yaw authority? This produces unwanted yaw momentum on roll/pitch manouvers :/

  12. Amazing project! I don’t know how much you can “lock in” more without compromise, but it’s fascinating, I’m curious to know how much “snappiness” you can get from this setup for more aggressive freestyle flying, however for cinematic seems awesome

  13. That worked out pretty good. I agree there is no jello but when you yaw and roll it did seem choppy. I live in greenwood, would you mind me spectating sometime?
