  1. I would love a video showing how to get tax information off various exchanges like Phemex, Bybit, Biance and Metamask. There are instructions out there but they all seem to leave out some small detail that a non computer savvy person might not know. The taxes are pretty easy for simple trades but getting the information from certain exchanges isn't

  2. Thank you Ben, I've fallen off your channel. It's good to hear the basic education for the noobs.

  3. Ben,
I have my CPA figure out the taxes I owe but the information I give him is simply the money that I deposited into the bank after I turned my tokens into cash and had that fiat sent that to my bank.
I refuse to follow the rule that I am going to pay taxes on every single trade that I do from token to token even from token to US dollar token because I think it’s unfair – I think it’s unrealistic and we should only have to pay taxes
on token to USD which is a realized gain/loss.
I downloaded my transaction history on CoinTracker and when I received the history printout showing all transactions they fell into several categories like date purchased, name of token, quantity, etc… but what irritated me was the two following categories:
    1. Base cost
    2. Gains
I was immediately disgusted because 90 % of the gains represented were from various trades- tokens to tokens, not trading tokens for USD/cashing out.
To me the trades do not represent realized gains until transferring or trading those token gains /losses into realized USD sells.
But according to IRS crypto tax rule-all trades showing gains must be repotted as realized gains!
This is BS and I won’t play..
I believe in paying my fair share of taxes but only to a certain point and then I feel like I’m getting plugged in the rear end.
Are we on the same page or do you feel differently.

  8. I have heard that Crypto disappears from Kucoin with no explanation despite 2fa; without support or explanation; US users are out of luck if this happens as per the SEC it is not an approved exchange; also it is not just a risk of shutting down or locking out but also confiscation and theft

  9. It’s actually illegal to pay taxes contact Freedom Law School the only people who have to pay taxes are government employees and the people of Washington DC

  10. Yes, I know what its like to be hacked. Its terrible. I had my crypto on a what I always believed to be a trusted, safe place. Being my Exodus, wallet. They claim, someone must have got it thru my laptop. I use kapaskey ant virus, and nothing was reported. I basically lost my life savings being 815k, it nearly did me in. But I have come to realise, that I am lucky, compared to a lot of others, as I still have my health, and great friends.

  11. My favorite inflation hedge is spendimg 100% of all of my money! why hold on to something that just keeps becoming more and more useless?
