  1. GT7 is making me want to get a PSVR2 …… and a PS5 ……. and a new PS compatible wheel ………… and a driving stand and seat. It looks amazing. Like you I’ve tried Sim Racing in VR on PC with Dirt Rally 2 and Assetto Corsa. It was great but it is fiddly to setup. And I also had glitches at times. GT7 with PSVR2 looks like the pinnacle of VR racing currently. And we’re bound to see other racing titles (maybe Assetto Corsa) coming to the platform. Exciting times for VR. It’s a just a shame it’s such a costly setup for those of us that don’t have a PS5 already. But it’s definitely feeling like it’s time to jump onboard 👍

  2. You can change your car in a multiplayer lobby. Just quit and you'll be returned to the pre race screen where i says change car.

When you change and go to race you'll re-emerge from the pit lane. Your session is still active and your friends won't have been booted.

My friend and I changed cars to show off to each other 10-15 times seamlessly.

  3. I would love to play gt7 in VR with a nice sim rig! I love light but fast cars: ariel atom, bac mono, those kind of things
In my daily live I drive a shitty VW Lupo, but I also have a fun car which is a Nissan S14 Kouki. I am rebuilding it at the moment and I cant wait to drive it again this summer!

  4. I'm with you there, I remember waaay back in '97 getting Gran Turismo bundle with the Dualshock controller, having worked in a Games shop at the time we spent many an hour showing to customers. In the following years since have played every iteration I can honestly and safely say psvr 2 has taken racing and Sim racing on console to another level. Sadly due to financial I had to sell my fanatec gt dd pro but my god what a wheel and unit. I do still have my trusty logitech g29 which works just as good as the fanatec at a fraction of the price. This coupled with a playseat challenge for those with limited space is ideal.

  5. “A free VR mode”. Do not say that, and just, yeah, do not ever say that ever again. Not all people have $500 in their pockets to just pull out, especially when they only want the headset for one game. There is just one game in that headset so far that is 100% worth it. $500 is WAY well less than free. Do not ever say that, do mention that sentence, ever again.

  6. Love this game and I’m playing it way too much. Only one small gripe I have is that the barrier grid around the car is a little too restricting and you can easily set it off and black out your screen for a second by moving your head around a little too much. Sometimes just turning around to look at the back seat of the car triggers it. I hope they eventually patch this and make it so you can lean way outside your car window if you want to.

  7. My DD wheel and pedals are supposedly arriving tomorrow.Just finished putting the GT Omega Prime Lite aluminum rig together along with the RS12 seat.

I preordered PSVR2 when I found out GT7 was getting a full upgrade. Then went shopping for a rig to match 😎

  8. Hey dude are you serious? The comparison between the VR & flat Version is completly wrong! Trough the glasses, the VR2 Version looks much more blurry! Its not even close compared to the flat Version! I love GT7 in VR2 but its much more Blurry ☝️

And by the way, the steering wheel in the Game is on the right side ☝️🤦🏻‍♂️🤡

  9. I can attest to this. I've never been a fan of racing games. I was always into vehicular combat games like Twisted Metal but just straight racing has always been boring to me. Plus I've always sucked at them. Even when I did like a racing game it was the arcade types, not the simulator types like GT. GT7 in VR with a wheel though is just plain awesome! I just have a G923 and pedals with no seat, frame or stand. So my setup is no where near as good as Mike's and I'm still having a blast.

  10. The reality is there is a Huge graphical compromise on VR version, as I played the PSVR2 version and then immediately tried the console flat screen version and I couldn’t stop playing as the graphical quality was too much better.

  11. The only "racing" game I play is Euro Truck Sim but this definitely looks interesting. Unfortunaltely, there are not enough games yet to justify buying a PS5 and the PSVR, now that PS exclusives also release on PC after a while.

  12. The only thing I really don't like about PSVR2 is so far is that when a game updates in the background, the black popup box appears almost in the centre of view so you can't see where you're driving. lol.

  13. I haven't played, and I generally don't really like racing sims, but this game in VR is seriously tempting me to go buy a PS5 and PSVR 2 (not just for this one game mind you).

  14. You can change your vehicle while in multiplayer. You have to make sure you are on a lobby then make sure you aren’t “entered “ and if you go over to setting you can change cars. But if you click the enter button and it’s waiting for next round it wont let you switch
