  1. I think a beautiful stealth based game where you maneuvered Gollum around vistas of Middle Earth as he trails the ring bearers could be really enjoyable. Give the game stealth mechanics like the Thief games paired with high end graphics and a solid lore feel and there you go you've got a game. Or, you know, you could make this.

  2. Lol I briefly saw this game on twitch and I could have swore it looked like something out of a 2011 gameplay video 😅

  3. When I heard of this game, I thought it was gonna be as good as that Cat game Stray was.
    So so disappointed with this.

  4. …….Gollum?
When pre-Fellowship Aragorn and all the shit he got up to with Elrond's sons and other Rangers was RIGHT THERE????
    FUCKING GOLLUM THOUGH?????

  5. Making the graphics and models look so sharp just looks cheap, nasty and poor quality. There needs to be some blur especially for objects far away

  6. Take back that def jam comment right now, that game has more meaning than you understand my guy i agree with everything else but sheesh

  7. I'm just confused as to who asked for this game lmao. I'm a decent lord of the rings fan I'd say. Read the books, watched the trilogy several times, but wtf😂😂😂 Why is it so hard to just get a good game nowadays

  8. I can't wait for the Jason Schreier expose on this one…man it feels like the development hell this abomination went through is worth a 10 episode Netflix series. Lol.

P.S Matty bro that was not a dragon that appeared there, it's a Fellbeast! Blasphemy.

  9. This was a bad review of a bad game. Dont think this dude even played it for any length of time

  10. Such a pity. Gollum’s story from aquiring the ring, surviving Goblin town beneath the Misty Mountains, escaping, pursuing Bilbo, encountering Sauron, getting captured by Aragorn/Gandalf, escaping and pursuing the Fellowship is compelling.

But looks like they dropped the ball technically, design and content wise.

His story intertwines much of the main story, and Tolkien himself was heartbroken he couldn’t write a ‘redemption’ arc for Gollum. He was destined to be a tragic character, and Eru’s servant in completing his overarching Eucatastphy.

Cool story, coulda been a cool game. But seems it was not in the right hands. A pity.
