Pixel Fold is pretty sweet and I’m loving it. But it’s also $1800 and has a real set of flaws. Get a Robot City skin at …

  1. Buttery smooth, nice (ish) design, good screens BUT you have to take my word for it because it’s on charge right now.

  2. I’ve noticed that when Android releases things they get penalized for things that just get looked over with Apple I mean it’s a problem that you can’t have separate home screens but you admit it’s kinda a apple thing I mean would you bring it up as a problem if it was Apple?? I see sometimes phones get released and they bring up “there’s no expandable storage or headphone jack” but it’s never complained about with iPhones so basically Android phones are penalized becuz more is expected from them?? That doesn’t make sense when we’re made to believe iPhones are the best phones shouldn’t that mean more is expected from them??

  3. I will never understand apps that aren't optimized for tablets. When you go to develop an app, tablet support is enabled by default… like, you have to go out of your way to make the layout smaller like that… why…

  4. I’m very much of the generation where phones were becoming smaller and a folding phone was a bit pathetic. I just don’t want to carry around an entire tablet all the time.

  5. Hear me out

FOLDABLES should be designed so that when Folded the Side rails feel like a solid 1 phone
Because from the Side where The Phone Opens
All FOLDABLE phones Look like two Phones Stuck together or stacked
Just design a side that meets the Other side and forms a plane Side

  6. Oppo nailed it by refining the design from samsung. Pixel rebrand and put in stock Android. Samsung just sitting back tailoring displays😅

  7. I just want to thank you, to all those Pixel/Samsung phone buyers out there for giving Apple some competition so they can make even better more efficient devices!

  8. Don't forget to mention that the screen protector doesn't fill out the enough to the full screen ratio but leaves a tiny bit of section exposed to the REAL screen which is delicate! Good luck with that! My Flip3 was fully covered but when it peeled it immediately started to get dings without any abuse (always in my hand or pocket 90% of the time, other than charging)

  9. I've been daily driving the Razr + since release and I am extremely happy with it. The external screen is large enough to do so many things, and coming from the Pixel 7 pro, I'm alright with the slightly less camera quality.

  10. If this phone was made by an asian company people would make such a big deal about not opening up all the way, no s pen, bigger crease, and apps dont even take advantage of the big sceen. There is no way this phone would get a good review if a white owned company didnt make this phone. Great a foldable phone that works good when its just unfolded.

  11. I might be in a very very tiny minority when I say this, in fact it could be a very unpopular opinion, but I think normal smartphones should take a little inspiration from the folding phones and add a screen on the back side of the phone. It would be used only as a viewfinder for the camera (therefore it would also be a lower quality screen) and would otherwise be turned off unless you were using the camera app.

  12. Great review , great device [ It’s not just a phone people] I love foldables , but I need my S-Pen / S-pen support. However, I love the Pixel Fold Cover Screen size and believe Google did amazing . If you never had a "Foldable Device" its soooo worth the switch. I will never go back to a Candy Bar Style Phone.
