3. Glad I didn't rush to buy it and waited to see this video. I'm a MKBHD fan, I've been following him since 2015 and he deserves all the success and fame…but he's had a big hand in the making of this shoe, he definitely would be aware of how much it costs to make this shoe and definitely definitely had a say in its price. So MKB has a fair share of blame for launching a shoe that's not worth half its MSRP.

10. I have no idea how fake leather is any good . I have never had a product with fake leather last . For me literally any other material is better , after few months it looks terrible especially if gets used . But it suits fast fashion really well I guess.

12. I received mine after 3 months waiting opened the box put one on and then put them back in the box and contacted Atoms support. Innitially they only wanted to offer "Store Credit" with MKBHDs shoe but after I told them I didn't want any other Atoms shoes because they all would such just as hard. I paid $60 to ship them back but they did refund. The Walmart 1s and NOT a vibe 🤮

16. Any sneaker over $20 is a cash grab. Unbelievable anyone would pay more than that. People like to tell other people that they have no brains I guess. I would be embarrassed to let people know I am an idiot…but I guess some people enjoy that somehow.

Synthetic Leather is still way more environmentally friendly than any kind of animal leather, there is so much more that goes into feeding, watering, maintaining animals overall throughout the whole process than plastic overall, yes plastic is still bad, but it doesn't add into the GreenHouse Gas that animal factories push out. Plus no animal wants to die to become a pair of shoes.

28. i used to skate from like 8yrs old to 19 then stopped but i always buy skate shoes as when skating theyd hold up pretty well and price wise they seem ok, i know they aint as fancy but most of the time i get a good 2 years out of a pair. Not a major shoe dude tho but they look cheap af but thats the whole industry especially from like balenciaga an stuff never heard of atom tho but guessing they thought because they got a collab they could sell em off for 4x the actual price

34. tl;dr: yes, its an immensely overpriced cash grab from Marquez Brown. You might say he doesnt give a flying fk about his "fans" and sees them as cash cows. Tells you how "objective" all his videos most likely are… not.

    I bought these. Im happy with them, they are comfortable, and i pretty much daily drive them. Ive gotten compliments on them and like that ill probably never run into anybody else with them.

47. i really look up to marques but the moment he showed the shoe for the first time i thought it looked really cheap.
    the design looked like a Chinese copy of a Jordans going for 10$. like i think he was trying to do minimalism but without the knowledge to do minimalistic design right.
    and seems like that's not only the outside :/
    i dont mind if special editions like these cost more but 200$ really is ridiculous. feels more like they just wanted to generate hype how nike does it.

    also feel like noticing that marquess has a serious problem with determining the value and cost of products (that aren't high end phones) for some time now. which really hurts to say since i am a fan of his videos and the high production value.

48. Wore these on a 2 week trip to Australia averaging 20km per day of walking, can confirm the soles look like new. hard wearing for sure.
