  1. Suppose all the leading companies in AI development (e.g. Microsoft, OpenAI, Google) combine their resources to create a super-massive AI. That'd be able to create an illusion of General AI… Especially if the whole internet is available to train it on. Still, it isn't realistic since all the companies are fighting for profits 🙂
But what if there was at least a slight chance?

  2. How is it, that when DVd's were introduced to the public. We were told that watching a video on a dvd rather than on a VHS.would give you alternate view points while watching. But 98% or 99% of the dvd movies don't have that function 😮

  3. I’ve noticed some creators videos have started to be able to continue playing PIP when I exit the YouTube app on iPhone. This was one, what has YouTube changed to allow this?

  4. 7:04 I think that there should be a federal law banning recording in portrait mode! Marques' comment about going with 4:3 and cropping either the sides or top and bottom, to match the destination platform's ratio does make sense. But that can be done already with 14:9 anyway. It's just a matter of being mindful of what one is including in the raw video.

One way to deal with that is to have a high-resolution recording shot with low zoom. That will leave plenty of room to crop it wider or taller as needed. This leads me to one of my biggest tips for people to make better videos and to take better pictures. Don't even bother with the fake so-called zoom on your phones! The zoom function, with the exception of jumps to exactly on 0.6X, 1.0X, and 3.3X in the case of my phone, for example (OnePlus 9Pro), is just a scam.

It's just software choosing to delete picture data and resize your image with a lower effective resolution. So stay a little "zoomed out," and you can manually crop to what you want later, in post production. Oh, and while you're at it, don't aim for your feet right when the car crashes, the building explodes, or someone falls. Don't be lame.

  5. Everybody wants small phone's but is too expensive. All of my friends say – my phone is super but I want to be a little smaller it will be the best.

  6. Wait, people charge their smart watches every night? That's insane.

I haven't charged mine in a week and it's at 48%. I wouldn't buy any watch that must be changed every night.

  7. I agree with the watch thing. It's not the same as phone, you need to remove the watch from your wrist to charge it. A phone, you put itdown ALL the time so it's just a lot easier to charge it.
I use a garmin fenix and charge it once a week when I exercise a lot, or once in 2-3 weeks if I don't. I would never get an apple watch or something that silly. The reason I wear my watch outside of exercising (otherwise would wear mechanical watches all day long) is because of the physiological data, and that requires it to be worn all the time.

  8. The battery life on the Apple watch is disgusting. Brands like Huawei have watches that last for WEEKS and do as much/more. If apple consumers are willing to accept it Apple will keep dishing it out. That hot take was spot on.

  9. I disagree with the position about the mini, because of couse the majority of the people prefer bigger phones, but there's a place for small phones that Apple didn't really try to explore: if it's a smaller demographic they bought the 12 mini, saw its problems and Apple kinda fixed with the 13 mini… but costumers are not tech reviewers, they don't change phone every year, so people that could buy the 13 already had the 12, its sales are not prove that there's no enough demand for a mini, but that it should be that, a separate branch of iPhone not updated every year like they do with the SE and with… the iPad mini

  10. Hot take on Marques' hot take. The battery life bad take is the bad take, and we really should be expecting more than 1 day on our smart devices. It's more that we've settled on the 1 day life because no one wants to innovate outside of what apple does, and it's that apple decided that the 1 day is "enough". For a phone, sure, you can chuck in on your charger at the end of the day. But with the watch, specially with how smartwatches promote all their health tracking feature including sleep they really should be more than 1 day.

  11. Man, I so hope that Marques is true. I love this guy. I respect this guy. Now I've been told to not trust him. Is he just is another cash grab boy by joining into the top sponsors? Is he still true? Man, I hope so.

  12. I understand those who like large phones, but personally I hate them, and I have big hands! I LOVE the smaller models, that fit any pocket, don't tire my thumb and if I want a larger screen I can use a tablet. I want a normal sized phone, not a SKATEBOARD! Think about the olde SE model, its a 6s in small package, runs the latest OS and is FAST. The next SE 2020 is even better albeit a bit larger but still great, and CHEAP. You can find them used at very good prices. Gone are the days when I used to spend a ton of money for the absolutely latest tech. Now I always wait 1-2 years before I buy tech stuff. I let the market hype settle down, and if there's a problem, it gets solved.
