  1. There will never be another game that I wish I could experience for the first time again more than Skyrim. The first time I saw the dragon burn down Helgen, after I escaped out of that cave, and when I was released out into that vast world filled with unexplored, unknown content. It was such an amazing experience that I wish I could get back again. Can’t wait until what Bethesda comes up with to top this game.

  2. Can someone please explain to me why this game is so loved? I’ve played about two hours of it on Nintendo Switch and the game is boring as hell and the fighting mechanics and NPCS seem clunky. I want to sell the game on eBay because I haven’t touched it in over a month, but I just want to know if it’s worth keeping or not.

  3. I really like how you can spend a lot of time on this game just pottering about. It does feel atmospheric, and I am grateful that combat is straightfoward. The only improvements i would make is to reduce some of the minor tasks, and make the levelling up a bit less complicated

  4. But wait, there’s more. On all consoles you can add fan made mods that have the ability to exchange your game. From adding new quests and armor, to introducing new companions, there is even more things to do in the game on almost all platforms

  5. I enjoyed this game when it came out in 2011 (I thought it was the best game ever). Now when I play it, I realise that this game is not as good as it is made out to be at all. Not just this game, but most games that are made out to be masterpieces at face value seem to be the best game ever, but after coming back for a while, they are nowhere near as good and problems become much more noticeable when you take of your rose-coloured glasses (Witcher 3 for example).

Not saying that this game is bad, but there are PLENTY of problems that are a big deal when you get down to it. Some of the biggest problems I find with the game is the combat, quest designs and that this game is really dumbed down from previous games that make it barely an RPG anymore. It is more of an action adventure game with RPG elements (builds and leveling systems). Even with those systems, there are problems. The combat, whilst really easy, was not very satisfying. This could be down to me, but the combat was not enjoyable at all. There were no tactics to be used such as dodging or striking an enemy at a specific time or watch the opponents' movements to seek out a way of striking them at different times. Nothing like that. I, and most others I have seen, be it other Youtubers, would just strike an enemy until it was dead, only to go into the menu and drink healing potions during combat to prevent you from dying, that is only a basic and boring tactic. The story also lacked any sense of urgency and characters that are memorable. The characters pretty much sounded like each other and lacked any personality to remember them by. Only a few characters I remember being quite interesting for their personality alone were Cicero and Serena (mainly because of her backstory). The story also lacked choice and consequence (this applies to the main story and all of the factions) which is the key element of what makes an RPG an RPG. This was the most disappointing for me because it makes everything you do in the game meaningless, you are just your character and you do whatever you want and nothing ever reacts to you, and for something that is trying to be an RPG, that is a really big problem.

If you enjoy this game, that's fine, I even do sometimes when I get the urge to play it, but don't go around saying that it is one of the best games ever and that it is a masterpiece because it most definitely isn't. People who say that are saying it through their rose-coloured glasses and from their own personal enjoyment. Learn to be critical about your favourite game.

  6. 2018 and still playing. Over 2500 hours and it’s as good as ever. This game is a 10/10 if not higher. My favorite game ever. It’s ruined me for other video games. I don’t enjoy anything else anymore and that’s not bad. Skyrim is that good. Can’t wait for es6. Sorry ign but you missed this one. And it should’ve been ign’s game of the year imo

  7. did get this game for the xbox 360 from gamestop played almost all of the campaign quests until one day the game wouldn't load there was a bug remembered going to the college to learn magic buying a home killing some of the dragons in the add-on content leveling up and getting stronger and more proficient one thing i think i read somewhere was that when selling, which i did a lot to get a lot of gold, was that the game registers individual transactions more for exp points then as a bulk sale of lots of goods at one time

  8. Got a weird question to ask lol so my friend tried telling me Call of duty as an entire franchise is better than The Elder scrolls is. Someone explain to me how stupid of an opinion that it?

  9. My parents are buying me skyrim
But I'm not sure they're buying it for me cuz they love me
Or never wanna talk to me again

  10. I am the only one that noticed that whoever was playing this game for these clips was getting owned by every single enemy. Seriously though, rewatch the video and you'll notice the player is losing most of the fights lol….

  11. just got the game today! I went to target today and I found fallout 4 and skyrim remastered for 15 bucks each! I am a big fan of fallout and I have always heard of this game. I finally have plans for this christmas. lol.

  12. I bought this game yesterday for PS3, I've never played an RPG before, but I do love open world games and I'm eager for to get into a detailed and enrich world.

Any tips or word of advice for me?
