  1. As long as they follow the games this time, I'm in. I'm curious about the upcoming movie reboot, though. Are they going to cancel that and just do a series? Or will they do both? If they do both, they're going to have to be very careful how they approach each so that they're not too similar. I'd rather see a movie franchise adapt the games than a Netflix series, though.

  2. I hate the idea of focusing on Umbrella. They should be the shadowy organization in the background, pulling strings but rarely seen up close.

The story should focus on its (NON-superpowered) main characters as they struggle to survive and solve the mystery of whatever scary predicament they're in — just like the games.

  3. Huge Resident Evil fan, won't be getting my hopes up however… Also won't expect any real longevity out of it. I shall color myself cautiously optimistic, and hope to be pleasantly surprised!

  4. The ending of this video didn't feel right… she was trying to support you really bad ideas then you made her look bad, should've at least edit that. Like come on man… 😉

  5. Season 1 should be about the virus development and mansion outbreak. I think its enough source for that, starting on original trilogy of r.e, umbrella chronicle, code veronica and more
Season 2 concern to raccon city last days, its not happen on one night, at least four or five days until nuke fall. Enough source like trilogy re, operation raccon city and both outbreak games

  6. So the movies you choose to criticise and call embarrassing is the first couple films? I'm sorry but as bad as they were they were at least watchable. Those later sequels are some of the worst action films I've ever seen.

  7. Season 1 – RE1
    Season 2 – RE2
    Season 3 – RE3
Season 4 – RE code veronica
Season 5 – RE 0 (to close the umbrella saga)
    Season 6 – RE 4
    Season 7 – RE 5
    Season 8 – RE 6 (leon)
    Season 9 – RE 6 (Chris)
(Throw in Jake and Ada in both seasons)

  8. The Resident Evil universe has much more potential as horror TV series than Walking Dead just because the T-virus can cause all kinds of mutations. In TWD it's just dumb slow zombies. Smart move by Netflix. I don't see any issues with Constantin Film as developer, right on the contrary – it'll help the series stay closer to the original franchise.
