  1. Number 6 aka "The Horror" is believed to have died after the events of the short story "But the past isn't through with you". In the story, the Rumor unknowingly created a doppleganger/clone after lying repeatedly about going to the library when she was really sneaking out to meet a boy. That boy is the assistant of one of the comic's villains , Murder Magician. The Magician eventually kills the Rumor's clone and we find out that Sir Reginald had the villain do it to teach her a twisted lesson about how she uses her powers. The end of the short story concludes by saying characters you've enjoyed may or may not be living by the time the next story begins. It is in that next story that we first learn of Ben/6/The Horror's demise. Perhaps Murder Magician or even Big Papa Hargreeves is responsible for the death. Maybe another "lesson" was taught but with a far more severe and permanent impact on the remaining members of the academy.

  2. Crazy theory time: Perhaps Ben either:
    1. Became corrupted by his own power and his "Brothers" and "Sisters" felt it was more fitting to put him out of his misery.
    OR
    2. Ben left the team deciding to operate solo which resulted in the deaths of himself and multiple civilians.

  3. Okay this a sad theory what if Ben died of an overdose. Ben and klaus are closest next Allison and luthor. What if like klaus Ben turned to drug use and fought against his inner darkness and what if klaus haunted by the death carries ben's soul in order to keep from walking the same path. Or maybe ben probably committed suicide and klaus was likely his second.

  4. Luther is lame, his strength in the show seems like it isn't all that amazing. So he's just big and awkward easily the worst past of the show for me

  5. Man, season 1 had so much promise.

A little bit over the halfway point the show just lost me. Ellen Page while mostly fantastic, didn't deliver in the scenes where Vanya is supposed to be pure anger/rage.

Tom Hopper as Luther was so meh then again he didn't have very much to do due to the writing.

Mary J. Blige was just awfully miscast. She cannot act.

The CGI effects are hit and miss. POGO looked utterly fantastic but other special effects were so poor that they take you out of the moment.

The pacing/writing/directing really started to nosedive in the halfway point.

However, most of the cast had great chemistry and the music choices were mostly spot on. Robert Sheehan was just the best. His role is similar to Misfits but here they give him a chance to show off his dramatic chops and boy does he deliver. Also, Aidan Gallagher has a bright future ahead.

    6.5/10 for me.

  6. Either A) He killed himself (my top theory, based on the inscription on the statue) or B) his powers got out of control. Also all of the dead people we saw were still very angry with their deaths. It could be that Ben has accepted his death, and maybe that's why he looks normal.
