  1. The Harleys will have their market and the milenials will get theirs…. The bikes look nice but not practical to expand their market….. The market is wide open for you guys to loose if you guys don't need it or want it…. This motorcycles still appeal to the baby boomers but the new generations are more sabby on what works and what doesn't on and off road, for adventure bikes which is the biggest market nowdays a VROD with less than 500 pounds and 75 MPG would be the perfect adventure bike that both women and average built world man, ( 5'7' ) just think of all the 775 million rich European man and women plus 650 million Latin American man and women as potential customers that can not handle a 1/2 ton bike on adventure….. Your competition is the Honda NC750X with 50 horspower and 70 torque and 75 MPG.

  2. Looking at these bikes… I can already see other competitors that are equal or better and cost waaaaaay less… Funny how we think this is the future of Harley when they all cost 5-figure numbers aimed at a generation fighting unemployment and student loans…

  3. The *Livewire" looks crap. The " Freewheeler" just buy a car. The Pan Am looked great as Bobber and Dual sport bring it to the shops I want both, but with an instrument cluster like the Royal Enfield Hymalayan. Some of us don't like or need the electronics.

  4. With these insane pricing no wonder they are suffering loss in sales. And will continue to if they offer the bike at the price of a car. You deserve to get shutdown Harley, waste of money

  5. They should focus on long distance electric motors and sell just a few highly customizable models for less than 10,000dollars

  6. Does the 'Freewheeler' frame allow you to lean into turns, or is it ridged like the old trikes? (probably pretty popular with the Walmart crowd)

  7. It looks like Harley is still planning to sell bikes to top 1% of the population and is wondering why the sales volume is declining!

A $22K Harley bike for a 22 year old college grad with $80K student loans?? No way this will sell. Period.

On the other hand, a gold plated, diamond studded multi-million dollar bike for a billionaire will sell fast.

  8. What the young market needs is a smaller, nimble and exciting bikes like KTM Duke 790 or Royal Enfield Intreceptor 650 or Honda Rebel 500 which costs less to own and ride, while providing good performance.
Young generation does not have the money to waste on big burly dinosaurs like Harley. They have less cash & need fun bikes.

  9. IMO, as a custom made rat HD. Started out as a 2008 Rocker that I stretched out further and put a 30 inch tire on the front, is really starting to show their either greed or desperation. Here is what made Harley Davidson infamous, they didn't care what the rider wanted, they made motorcycles that they liked and would ride. Now they just worry about what this generation thinks about it and not caring about the generation that made them their money. Strip all this junk off your bikes, concentrate on you drivetrain and put a sticker price that your buyers can finish the bikes the way they want it. How the hell is a company suppose to satisfy and entire generations about 'ME'? Also what a crime that HD has made what appears to be the perfect all electric bike that will be dependable and not out dated for awhile for the Euro bike lovers??? I hope it keeps the name around just because it will suck when your gone .But if you depending on HD buyers to suddenly decide that HD  was wrong all this time and the other kind of bike is better, your broke already.

  10. Harley missed the boat. Still trying to see 1940s crap with different paint. They had a winner with the Revolution engine but did not have the sense to use it.

  11. This is an easy decision for millennials. $20k for a motorcycle or down payment on my home / college debt…hmmm I wonder which one to choose? Yamaha and Kawasaki sell cruisers under $10k which steers the newer generation from Harley.
