  1. Do you guys think Unbox Therapy knowingly supported a company that's blatantly committing arbitrage? Also, don't get me wrong – I love Unbox Therapy, but I hope I'd never sell my followers an item I don't believe in.

  2. Naïve backers lost out on SuperCalla who ran a kickstart claiming that they invented this (BS) but backers believed them & wouldn’t listen to those few who said it was an existing product (even provided them with links to patents) but they got snippy along with Alex & Michael (the non affiliated affiliates) who posted thousands of nonsense posts just done to drown the links that showed it to be an existing patent. Mine all cost a fraction and still work fine. Never even seen the pop up that all iOS cables got. Stay away from Charles Harris lol Xpand laces was his first hijacked Chinese patent run on kickstarter – he ain’t invented anything other than this scam….the unbox therapy caused a right stir on their wall lol What a wall it was! 🙄

  3. I commented on their video too. I supported the legit first magnetically coiled cable in Kickstarter – it is called SuperCalla. It sucks that they supported a counterfeit product from an original idea of a kickstarter project.

  4. I honestly do believe that those cables originate from the Kickstarter campaign "Supercalla".
I have been supporting that campaign since ~April last year and finally got the 3 cables I ordered a couple of days ago.
The price for 3 cables of the higher quality and data rates + 2 meters long was 10$ per piece.
But things like that always land on Aliexpress because that is what the chinese do – they copy everything and anyone they can.
Support the actual inventor including all the details on his campaign page on Kickstarter "Supercalla".

  5. I did the supercalla kickstarter last year and three cables finally arrived. They do work just fine and seem decent quality. More of a novelty but theyre fun to play around with! I dont feel ripped off I got some neat cables out of this.

  6. I think nowadays every body want to make money any way possible. Even actors who are already making a lot of money will stand on TV and say I use this brand cause its good blah blah but actually they don't use it

  7. Supercalla started a Kickstarter a full year ago. And almost every copy cat used most of the publicity shots from their web site. They are also really mifi certified.

  8. I bought these cable after watching the mag link cable video from Unbox Therapy in July 2020. Till today (Jan 2021), I have not received it. Funny enough, Unbox Therapy also removed their video about the cable and they posted on their twitter account asking if we had order the cables and received them. I have also contacted mag link cable support 3 times and obviously never received a response. Such a scam!

  9. Hey can u do a fast charging test with those cables. Like 25 watts all the way up to 65watts. Because I really want a simple cable like that for travel and I dont want to damage my phone if it not safe enough. Do a charging comparison please and thanks. From the cables u have.

  10. I think SuperCalla is the original magnetic cable EVER! I've saved a screenshot 8 months ago. He even told in the ad that he likes innovation and make more products, so it's not 1st time making products.

  11. Well I am in agreement with you. I ordered 2 cables back on July 26, 2020 from the link that Lou supplied. As of today December 6, 2020 I have not received my cables. I have repeatedly tried to contact Maglink with no answer from them.

  12. My Sister used to trust Unbox Therapy, she saw the Maglink vid and actually went and spent $70 on 3 Maglink cables, she thought they would be neat Christmas gifts…. the websites down now and they aren't issuing refunds, and she's now hates Unbox Therapy, because theyre like "Whats Maglink?", "Never heard of them". I feel guilty because I got her watching Unbox Therapy, they should have issued an apology and gone after Maglink.

  13. The one in Ali Express is a knock off. Obviously, people there are best at copying inventions and innovations from the west. They mass produce even those products which are US patented. I still believe Unbox Therapy had it invented first and Chinese just imitated it.
