  1. I agree the instant building thing looks too much Fortnite-ish and is a major turn off, i get what they're trying to achieve but it just seems silly.

  2. The performance / optimisation for this game is horrendous. AAA games Asking for 70 euro on release shouldn't be releasing in this state at that price in my opinion.

  3. Being a massive MH fan, I was really excited for this game so much so that I pre ordered it however, having played the trial on Series X the graphics are awful. Don't get me wrong the gameplay is there but I can't understand why it looks so bad. I have kept my pre-order as I believe like everyone else here the MH needs competition, but the graphics really need some TLC. MHR on switch looks better. Granted this is based on the trial version. Anyway love the content, keep up the great work.

  4. I played one hunting game that was different from monster hunter called Lord of Arcana on the PSP, it was actually super addictive considering the story was abut you gaining power to stop Vermillion (monster) from destroying everything. It was heavily influenced with alot of fantasy like monsters that you would hear in lore and such, and it had magic, I thought, "Why not?" I played it so much that I heard there was a sequel on the Vita and hoped that they would bring it to main consoles but I don't think it got alot of revenue, there was a psp version I bought from Ebay and even though it was in Japanese I still managed to beat the game!

  5. This game is amazing I’m a huge MH fanboy and this doesn’t disappoint I finished the trial In 2 hours beating the last monsters getting to where you have to own the game!! If I had the Cash I’d buy this right now it’s ridiculously fun

Also how many monsters are in game that’s my biggest buying factor

  6. This seems petty, but one of my big hesitations with this is that I already found MH to be "Japan enough" with the anime level caricature npcs and cat people with cat puns and flashy Naruto running dual blades, and this game just takes the Japan and dials it up to 10. On a more reasonable basis, none of the described weapons really click for my interest. I'm sure it's a good game and all, but I think I'm happy sticking with MH in its various generations when it comes to filling my hunting desires.

  7. As a playstation owner who hasn’t played MH rise should I wild hearts for 70$ or get MH rise now that’s it’s on ps5 for 40$. MHW was my favorite game of last gen

  8. So what I can tell is this game completely outclasses Monster Hunter and basically dethroned it as the go to monster hunting game. lol that's what Capcom gets for being complacent and not thinking they would every have any real competition.

  9. As a MH player since the PS2, I am looking forward to trying this out and seeing the new aspects of the hunts this will have. As for anyone saying fashion is not important… it is if you are a hard hunter. The fact that WH has layered armor is very promising. It looks good, hoping it plays just as good. I reserve judgment until i've put massive hours into it. Thanks for the great video.

  10. Although I've only spent 10 hours in the game I'm already liking it more than monster hunter, that could of course be because it feels fresh, mh rise although very good had very boring maps and you went straight to the momster, the world felt very bland, mh world was a great game and had a much better world than rise.

I will need to play the whole game first to decide, really hope the end game is engaging , I'm loving it so far and apart from the graphics so far it's a 9/10, I'm on ps5 and didn't encounter any of the problems you mentioned.

  11. I enjoyed the 5 hours I was playing of it but yeah there's some technical issues that could use some smoothing. I think the biggest issue I had which can be fixed with patches are that it felt like the i-frames for rolling didn't always work? Or the window is stupidly small. It made me feel like my dodge rolls weren't working. Which maybe it's a bug? But over all I heavily enjoyed my time with it in the trial I got to play.

  12. Played rise and really enjoying it, also playing monster hunter stories and would like to see that very more love and brought to the consoles! Can't wait to play this though have it ready for download tomorrow I only ran across it on Ps5 looking for something new to play and it was under related to MH: Rise

  13. well i played the trial version from ea play, in my opinion the graphics looks cheap and also the effects of the monster movements. I cant get the feeling like in Monster Hunter… For me it looks like they were hiding the graphics and the monster effects with the cinematic trailers… ppl who also played this game will understand what i mean with the monster effects… it is just so cheap compared to mh rise… and rise is a switch/pc converted game, keep that in mind… and it has zero chances to beat monster hunter world. but i can imagine it will still make fun to play for other people, for me i just dont get the hitting feelings when i atk a monster or a monster hits me. its just oh it hit me, lets heal up… it is to easy to play and no challenge … but hey it is just my opinion dont get bothered by mine opinion if u want to buy it 😀

  14. -_- My issue is that this looks inferior to most monster hunter games and I'm not buying something if it's worse than it's competition. I don't care if it's good when the option to play something better exists.

  15. Didn’t like monster Hunter much but I love this game has better combat to me and the creatures fight like wild animals monster Hunter felt more like a loop to me

  16. Monster Hunter needs more competition. Cause Rise was a disappointment for many hardcore hunting fans. So much potential but they wasted it away to churn out a 6/10 monster hunter game xD

  17. I tried playing through rise when it came to Xbox and it just felt like I had already played through it. This feels refreshing yet familar. Enjoying the exploration a lot more in this than i have in other titles

  18. How is the endgame grind on this game though? If it is better than the boring anomaly investigations that Rise has then I'm def buying this.
