  1. I've heard a lot of criticisms about the aesthetic, mostly "It doesn't feel like the Soviet Union" from people who have lived in Russia themselves. On one hand I can understand that, but on the other, it was never gonna be a game about historical accuracy to begin with. The claim was never levied against Bioshock or Prey, but this really seems to be the same kinda instance of what they were going for. The gameplay I figured wouldn't be anything genre breaking or defining, though it is a shame to hear that the main character doesn't have much of a personality to work with. I wonder if the Russian dialogue option has a more grounded approach for the protag.

  2. I spent a few thousand on a beeeeefy computer to play games at max settings with Ray Tracing enabled. I was super excited about this game because it was supposed to be a RT power house. Learned that it does not in fact have Ray Tracing enabled and thus I wont buy this game. What were all those Ray Tracing trailers and showcases for if the game literally doesnt have Ray Tracing?!

  3. Here is a really good reason for NOT buying this game or renting it:

The guy that owns the company that made this game pays taxes in Russia which is fattening up Putin's wallet.

Don't fund the war in Ukraine by buying or renting this game.

  4. It's looking amazing. I'm not too concerned with "perfect" gameplay. My favorite game is Half Life 2, and I'm not going to pretend that that feels modern. When the world, detail and story is beautiful art, then you can adapt to gameplay as long as the gameplay isn't broken, which this doesn't seem to be. I do hope some patches will address melee, but hey, that's fine. For me, a game can be an objective 7 out of 10 when categorized and still be the best game I've ever played. (Not saying this will be, but again, it's about the sum of the parts for me).

  5. I enjoy your videos, but I have to say these dev go through a lot to make a game and have you shit on it, nothing is ever going to be perfect, why not just say thank you.

  6. Your Description of the game made it sound like a spin on a fallout game compared to a Wolfenstein. in the way it looks reminds me of like a fallout especially with the artificial intelligence and just everything. All I've seen so far makes me think of like a Bioshock fallout in Wolfenstein got together and made a baby

  7. I'm a sucker for Soviet era style games. There is no way, and no review, that will deter me from playing this. I'll wait until 1st adopters have taken the hit for me and the patches have started to flow to fix any problems that have cropped up.

  8. I’m interested in the game but with the price on consoles and all the small things I’m hearing that are annoying in the game I think I’ll wait hope for a sale

  9. Half way thru the video “ first off the glove loots automatically” organize ur script before filming those videos, u do this for a living 🤦‍♂️

  10. I agree about the protagonists English va and dialogue being cringy, but in russian it's more like… memey? Idk what the right word for it is but it comes off as more sassy and clever in russian than annoying. Sure he's still crude and talks a lot but the russian dialogue is a lot funnier and less cringy
